Quick question Jamesy. I removed the black item you can see on this pic, as the SRD plate doesn't have a hole for this. I guess it's the horn for the alarm system on the car. Am I right?

That's right it's the horn, you can bend it down out the way or bolt it underneath. There are a couple of holes underneath the plate where aftermarket intercooler usually bolt to, you can relocate it there.

Totally pie-in-the-sky question here: would it be possible to construct an aluminium version of the carbon fibre APR radiator diversion plate (i.e. 3 or 4 pieces, welded and smoothed)?

 

I think it would be quite difficault because of the multiple curves, will be doing a rad plate soon as well but will look into a 2 piece :)
