Well after yesterday, the events organisers for sxoc have asked if they can get an invite more often, they were amazed that they were not frowned on for being there like they have been in the past. Im sure that we could make the numbers easily if we had a good connection with a number of clubs.

those saxo guys were so cool! he caught my epic spin on camera! lol

I agree, the mix was good (and not least because I was driving one of the oddies!) - it made it much more fun watching, and also more fun when out on the track when people were enjoying different wheels - sometimes not always ON the car, of course :D

Lol, that was a bit of a worrying seeing that wheel come off.

Shows the difference between something like that and a Supra though... 1 hour later and after borrowing a screwdriver off me and he's back out there tearing it up again - I wonder what the situation would have been if a Supra wheel had come off!

Me and the wife had a wonderful time for the 3rd year running. It was strange not having any of the big single drivers there though - I think I must have been one of the fastest as I was overtaking everyone :)

I don't think anyone saw my spectacular spin out though and sadly the camera wasn't on at the time. Lost the back end coming out of the chicane system after the bus stop, over corrected and went on to the grass and did at least two 360s parallel to the crash barrier. Small amount of damage to the side skirt but nothing major!

Thanks nevins for organising it this year! Can't wait to the next one. Anyone want to come again on the 23rd? ;)

I was on the track at the time and must of drove round just after your spin. It must of been some spin, because i thought you lost it on the corner before hanger straight.

Hehe yup it felt like we were spinning for 5 minutes. Eventually had to just let go of everything and let it sort itself out!

What a fantastic day, thank you Nevins and Sam for organising this.

I feel a right dick for not tightening the wheel nuts on my kit car not least because it was my daughter driving it for the first time when the wheel came off. Luckily the wheel did not hit any one and she managed to get the car out of the way onto the grass.

I will NEVER forget to tighten wheel nuts again that's for sure.

When my supra was going well it was really going well :D

Definitely need better tyres on the back, got some cheap ones off eBay and the back was all over the place.

I think I need a new water pump for the supra it was boiling over after 2 laps but was only seeing water temps of 90c at the radiator and oil temp was 120c so I would guess the water was not circulating (thermostat was already removed)

Had a really good time though and can't wait for the next track day :)
