Terminator
Hi Kris, I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of your father's untimely death. Please pass on my condolences to the rest of your family. I had spoken with Alan via PM on several occasions, the most recent only 10 days ago, when we were talking about his triple plate clutch. He was very keen it should go to someone who would get most benefit from it as it would be wasted in his car. He came across as a real gentleman, polite, courteous and generous. His last words to me were about how much he was looking forward to getting a pacemaker. My thoughts are with you and your family, may he rest in peace. tDR
Genuinely shocked to read this after seeing the news in the Scotland section Knockhill meet thread whilst currently stranded at Paphos airport on my way home from hols in Cyprus Alan will be sorely missed from the club - a thoroughly decent chap and long standing member always participating with a view I could relate to. Just goes to show you gotta live life to the full as you never know when your number's up Brian.
