Having said that its quite a good run down to it, very picturesque and has a perfect cafe in that car park for a last drink, and its probably nearer for the poeple in the east to get home. Fitz, is 11.30 leave time early enough to get everything in? sorry I feel like I'm sticking my hoof in too much, but hay ho. Bob. Bob. 11.30 leave time seemed like a reasonable time for a Sunday, but I'm flexible so can do earlier. All depends on other members too. Agree, the Madeira drive worked well last year, we just have to try to stick together along Brighton sea front with all those traffic lights against us, we did attract quite a lot of good attention along there too. Pistonbroke, sorry to here you can't make it, it would have been good to talk again especially about turbos, because I think my number one is going, and to tell you all the pain I've been through with the car since the last trip. BOB B Posted April 22, 2010 Share Posted April 22, 2010 Thanks for the thoughts and wishes, something doesn't want me to have a good time on the south coast runs, as Fitz says at last years one my EGCV busted, (no 2nd turbo). I have most of the turbo system out now just need to take off the last 8 nuts holding the turbos to the exhaust side then lift them out, put the second pair in and all back together, (easier said than done), if all goes well I should still be there. Though I do have one problem at least 3 of the smaller vacume hoses have split when taking them off (old age), Im hoping that I can get a length of the right size stuff from Mr T to cut to size and replace them. Is there anywhere else I could get hose from? Thanks for the offer of help Matt, if it realy starts to become a problem I'll give you a shout. I'll post again tomorrow. Bob.
