Quite aggressive towards each other back then too ay!

I wouldn't mind a bonnet scoop, just for cosmetic reasons. Seeing how it doesn't seem to do anything of any great importance, I don't know if I'll put it on my wish list just yet.

Why is it on UK and not J-spec? Things aren't that different under the bonnet I thought.

Something to do with the Japanese not doing long motorway driving and overheating #6 cylinder ISTR.

Not that there's much fast motorway driving in UK any more now though. :(

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I thought it made sense to put this info. here (where it all started?), having just received a scoop 'kit' from top-bloke Nic.

I've realised that the following extra parts would be required if you want it to be 'fully functional':

  • 1 x 17311-46010 "DUCT, AIR INLET, NO.2" (snorkel/funnel bit that bolts to top/side of engine to direct air from the scoop to the back of the engine)
  • 2 x 90179-06257 "** Std Part" (nuts to hold above in place - 2 required I think)

Hope that helps
