Jezz
Bit of a rant, but if IIRC, thats 1 Jun, 1 Crower, and 5 HKS cams that have arrived snapped clean in half! You'd think the suppliers would wise up and come up with a safer way of packaging cams. This particular one is a Crower exhaust cam, the inlet one was in the same packaging but undamaged. Once again, snapped in exactly the same place as the others.

Jezz
I think JamieP had a couple arrive snapped a few years back, and Nic's suffered with a Jun cam snapping in half during shipping too. Cant understand how something so critical can be so weak. I know cast items are prone to fatigue, but these have all been brand new, and all snapped in the middle! evinX
and your supposed to put those in your supra engines?! wowzers!
Ark
Yeah, but once inside the engine, they aren't going to get knocked half-way up their length. It's careless handling by the courier.
Chris Wilson
Cast and hardened iron is VERY brittle and easy to snap. Poor old Wes lost a JUN cam in transit. I always send race cams packed in wooden boxes.
L33
they are brittle, when packing they shouldnt be at the bottom of a box, they need padding all around them! big shame mate
dr_jekyll
couriors have no repect for peoples posessions atall, i have been told by a delivery driver that if a box says frigile or handle with care on they purposly make effort to throw it around and think ther clever, makes me sick.
