jevansio Posted October 31, 2009 Author Share Posted October 31, 2009 It has to be a colour combo that either Brembo or AP do as standard, when the time comes I'll be upgrading to one of those, I've been out & done them red (in progress), both the AP & Brembos come in red so I'll get a good idea on what they'll look like. Must have removed them first, then put them back for painting. Could do with getting my finger out and painting mine. What prep did you do before painting? Cheers, just Halfrauds red brake caliper paint, did it in 3 coats with about 20mins inbetween each, it comes up with a great finish, can't see any brush marks at all, Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

EdMorris Posted October 31, 2009 Share Posted October 31, 2009 Yeah, I tend to do a coat and then leave it overnight. I was also told to rub down slightly between coats to get rid of brush marks and any dust/paint build up. Works well but takes ages. I think I need a better brush too.
