Thanks Darryl, I had a great day but note that as I was 2nd in reaction, high up on the 0-60 foot but 'limped' home over 10mph terminal speed less than many, I now have booked her in with Ryan on the 4th September, so all this fun will sure cost me ;)

Happy days:eyebrows:

how many tt's were running on the strip homer ? i got 7th and was just wondering if i had a good time cheers

26 TT's running on the day. You got a good time mate compared to the overall results.

Overall the times were not as good this year as last, probably a lot to do with the heat on the day.

WOOO WHOOOO!

I'd like to thank Absz firstly for getting the car in such great shape! its all down to you mate!

Also i'd like to thank TDR for not showing up and putting the rest of us TT boys to shame!:p

(sounds like an oscar acceptance speech) LOL!

Congrats mate and congrats to JamieP and kearney also on your excellent runs, well deserved all of you :)

I let my times do the talking last year and proved what me and the beast :p could do. My whole drag ethos was to show what a Jap spec street Supra in the UK could do on a basic core setup - no need for hybrids, cams etc. etc. as was the thinking previously. After running 11's at other events / strips, Pod was the only benchmark left to go for the record and silence my critics

Still hoping I'll get my trophies from last year :eyebrows:

11.5 @ 114 MPH

1.64 sec 60ft

Should have won fastest 1/4 for stock / stock based turbos and fastest 60ft trophies last year.

Cheers,

Brian.
