Tee from China Posted July 24, 2009 Share Posted July 24, 2009 Frankly the spec of this hasn't changed much since it was first on PH circa 2006 and I think it was £18k then so cant see where the extra £17-20k has been spent and IMHO not worth £24k more like £14k tops. Good luck to her I hope supra prices get to this level again but if they ever do I would imagine it to be in about 50 years when the majority of them have be wrapped around a tree and they are truely a rare collectors item. Gerry Posted July 25, 2009 Share Posted July 25, 2009 I'm no fan of the car (and never met Suprawoman) but I can't knock anybody for advertising anything on the high side, even the very high side. I got £8,500K for an MX5 that had a book price of £5K just because I asked for it and waited. The guy who bought it was well chuffed (as it had original GlenEagles flat caps and a nice folder with history & pics that looked pretty) and I was well pleased too She may not get £24K for it, but if she waits I bet she'll get a lot more than the £9K that some others would have advertised it for. Not everybody (buyers) is as wise as you bunch If I ever sell my Supe, it going to go on for 30% more than I think I may be able to get for it. Good luck to her...
