Yes some imports will have been clocked yes some uk cars are a lot more rusty underneath but to continually spout that 'all' imports are this, that and the other is just bollocks. Mind you, I'd expect you'd know if it's done 200k rather than 100k! The signs will be there. Never heard of one jumping like this before so something is very wrong there! He's got a Uk car and loves it and thats fine why wouldn't he I've had most types of supra and loved them all, 2 of the imports may have been clocked I can't be sure, but 2 others i'm certain (or as much as anyone can be) haven't. I also know that loads of very genuine and exceptionally low mileage imports came in via places like JIC in the old days and so provided these have service historys from then on its all as checkable as a UK car.
