Supragal
My friend is looking for a home for her pup. She is about 4 months old I think and she's a nice little dog, very pretty and bright. I'm puppy sitting tonight in fact. If anyone is looking let me know.
Jake
Why do people do this? Both of our Beagles came from homes where somebody had them for like 2 weeks and then didn't want them any more. It's not like Beagles are particularly demanding - no more than most pups anyway. Got any pics? (not that we have room for another though)

Supragal
Well she has put her hands up and said she's taken on too much. She was in a long term relationship when she got her and since that broke up she's finding that it's not fair on Lottie (dog) as she also has horses and works full time so she doesn't like leaving her alone. Jake
Beagles are great dogs Matt. They're so funny and very affectionate too, they love a good cuddle on the sofa when you're watching TV - but I must tell you that both mine were quite bad for biting and chewing while they were still teething. I can't remember what age they grew out of it - definitely worth checking this about Lottie though mate. Not wanting to ruin anything here but you need to know all the facts if you've got young kids that might be upset by a dogs nip (It wouldn't do them any actual bodily harm, but kids... you know)

I've been looking for another dog as I've been without one for quite a while and the Beagle was VERY high on the list of possible breeds, largely due to past experience. Had a couple of chats with Jamie too about Honey, hence his post Not 100% sure about the timing of Lottie but I'll have a long beg chat with the missus later. Supragal
She looks very settled with your dog, are you not tempted to keep her? No, I don't have time for another pup and when I do it'll be a blue dane. Stig much as he's very placid and accepting of her does run the danger of hurting her accidentally when he bounces her. Stu_Fraser
If only I had seen this a few weeks back. What a lovely looking Beagle, we have just bought one about 5 weeks a go (Funilly enough we called him Jake). They really are a lovely breed of dog. Ours is now 13 weeks old and he is daft as a brush, he does like biting though
