Sorry didn't explain myself too well then but can't everyone leave at a more sociable hour? that way you would still be in a convoy :)

3/ stop at Brampton services on the A1 and meet with others Dragonlady etc at Midday for Dinner or Lunch for the posh peeps :p

4/ amble down to Colchester/Mersea island with another stop on the way

There seems to be a bit of talk of this convoy meeting up with others on the M25??? bit too far south isn't it?

We could meet the M25 convoy at the Stanstead (birchanger green) services and do the last leg of the journey together?

if we can agree on an arrival time at Mersea that is? Jorney from The M11 Services seems to be 1 hour 20 Mins...

Ive been thinking of going down to Stansted and heading over to Colchester/mersea Island from that way ;) is there a Convoy on the Friday from "down sooth " ?

Anyways the tide times will only effect us on leaving on the Sunday ie 13:31 we will have to leave before or wait for the tide to go out ;)

Mersea Island Tide times

High tide:

Thursday 10:51 then 23:29

Friday 11:54 then 24:00

Saturday 12:46

Sunday 01:17 then 13:31

Cheers
