Tee from China
Just found this on AT and only £3895 for an N reg TT! It's the 6th one down:sly: http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/msn/cars_search.jsp?page=9&modelexact=1&partner=msn&lid=search_used_cars_full&make=TOYOTA&model=SUPRA&variant=&keywords=&min_pr=75&max_pr=0&mileage=0&agerange=0&photo=1&postcode=sy25bb&miles=1500&max_records=100&source=0&sort=5&ukcarsearch_full=FIND+IT+NOW%

jamesmark
Meh, still not as cheap as what I sold my 'Boomerang' sponsored TT.

turbonut
Crikey!! I have agreed value on my N/A, heaven forbid anything should happen to it but if it did I'd easily get a TT. But factor in insurance/running costs etc and its still out of reach for the majority of the chav element........ .....for now anyway..................... Havard
Looks like a nice car but photos don't show the true horror usually!! Still a good price. Wierd that my NA is worth more....... H.
robin
It's not just supras, any larger engined or luxuary car seems to be depreciating at quite a rate now. Things like the lexus rx300 can be found for about 4/5k, 7 series bmw's are dropping like stones too.
Guest Angry Koala
Phone and ask him for an engine bay pic - either he doesn't know what he's got, has looked at prices on Autotrader, seen the NA prices and assumed they're all the same or has actually got an NA, looked on Parkers (which only lists the UK car so no mention of an NA!) and thinks it's therefore a twin turbo.... If it is a TT and he just doesn't know the cars at all then snap it up and sell it on for a bit of a profit.... before I do
tooquicktostop
Just noticed that is a trade ad, so you can bet he knows what it is worth thats for sure, I would imagine it is a PX he wants rid of, I would say it is well priced and worth a call for more info
johnny g
Aye, could also be a misprint though? as you say, definately worth a call. Perfect for a rebuild if it's a decent motor though, great project
Chris Wilson
Doesn't sound that cheap to me, auction prices are now often lower, so are trade prices.
paul2supra
I'd suspect it's an N/A - Autotrader is a bit funny with it's default titles I believe (or people aren't very good at using the site!), so you often see Twin Turbo in the title, then *n.b. it's not a twin turbo* in the actual ad itself And what state was the 6 speed tt for 3400??? Being a relative novice, mechanically inept, and a newcomer to all things turbo, I seem to remember being put off by the cheap price back then...too good to be true and all that! Chris Wilson
What people ask, and what they get, are two different things, ask any married man, or seller of gas guzzling Jap performance cars that dares admit the truth
