BASHTHEBISHOP
Feed it to next door's rotweiller:D Or just keep picking it up & putting it on the floor again - it will learn soon enough. Kittens are playful so will be a game for a while but it will wear off.

kieren1234
My cat had a habit of jumping on work surfaces, i splashed it in the face with water and he has never done it since! Thats best thing to do as cats HATE water - allthough when younger kittens, my cats used to lay on my chest when i was in the bath and go half under the water and stay really relaxed purring away. They are indoor cats too as i live in an appartment, tried taking them out on a little lead/harness but they hate it lol.
Cass
Butter the surface so when it jumps up it will go flying into the ready prepared sink of water . Or you could try this from those strange Jap folk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VRklgMjr3E
Supragal
I thought cat people just accepted that cats jumped on the worktop!! Ours used to jump on the dinner table. One time there was a pile of magazines on the edge of the table... it was very funny.
Vicky
I have a touch sensitive oven so it was for my own cats sake that i stopped him jumping up!
Shadow Beast
Water pistol and shoot him every time he jumps up on the surface, get one of the huge super soaker ones. I have one by the bed for when ours used to climb the curtains, was great at night shooting her! only need do it a few times and the threat is normaly enough. richie
tbourner
Or you could try this from those strange Jap folk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VRklgMjr3E I shouldn't laugh, but that is funny! Ours are allowed anywhere they want, we always wipe the surfaces before preparing food anyway.
