Guest mattsupra Posted May 5, 2008 Share Posted May 5, 2008 seems to me that the first bodyshop put too much on and buried it and the primer came through and mixed with all colours inc the silver base cote hence turning it browny colour etc the gold base makes the candy darker so it gives it more darkness (so to speak lol) and your supra looks the puppys nuts for getting it done candy over gold instead of silver base im thinking of going candy as mine is already silver so a good base but im thinking orange candy over silver like in your pic on the ice ring stunning car mate and great thread inc all the pics and dont despare it will all come gd in the end as i waited over 2yrs and a bankrupcy (the shop went tits up basically lol) to get my bike but was all worth it in the end keep your chin up and think of cruising around in your new shiny motor all the best with it matt Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Supra-Woman Posted May 12, 2008 Author Share Posted May 12, 2008 Car has gone back to the workshop and i have been given a Fiesta to drive around in, easy come, easy go, lol, but there were so many faults and things missin gthat i werent going to just leave it. White wheels have been sold already for £150 so yes i am on the look out for new ones. Just bought some Eibach Pro springs so i get a nicer ride if i get bigger wheels.
