  1. recently done cam gears, belt etc etc, i changed the timing belt tensioner wheel and the fan belt tensioner, cannot believe how much more quiter the engine is now. must have been used to the noise cause it never seemed that bad happy days
  2. what a bastard, that would really piss on my chips
  3. i tried a dremmel, but with the serated steel blade, it lasted about 5 seconds !
  4. its a real bastard to cut, i had to use tin snips. but you will struggle to get a "perfect finish" on the cut
  5. maybe wrong, but if you are auto, and you get a aftermarket rad, you will need a extra cooler for the tranny oil
  6. make sure you get proper ici paint, that standox 199 is a shit match
  7. i think i read somewhere that they use ap pads but possibly mistaken
  8. they are going to be black, just wondered which paint was best, ie, plasticote, hammerite etc etc
  9. anyone done this ? which paint did you use
  10. someone must have a grand burning a hole in there pocket
  11. someone needs to get some of these and give the club feedback volunteers please
  12. i've just fitted some jun gears, they use a original toyota outer so no chance of extra wear on the belt
  13. i think only the uk spec has this cooler
  14. i have a uk spec cream carpet in good nick
  15. would it not be better to use a blanket

  17. i used a stanley, but its a ball ache to cut this stuff. really take your time, you can't un-cut it
  18. yeah, as above, make sure you identify it correctly. the bearing had gone on mine. think they are around the £150 mark, you have to buy the whole tensioner, the wheel is not available on its own
