  4. Well up for it if you can get enough people interested, it would need to be a proper circuit for me though.
  5. Would this be the same as the Soarer 2.5tt? Email or PM me if you like, might be easier than this...
  6. Nice one matey, shame about the misfire though, could be worth trying a new rotor arm perhaps?
  7. There is a good article here http://www.modified.com/tech/modp-0906-twin-scroll-turbo-system-design/viewall.html We first did a test with one of my single wastegate manifolds and that improved spool up by about 800rpm over the HKS manifold. Then I changed the single wastegate version to one of my twin wastegate versions and saw another 200-300rpm improvement. Manifold is exactly the same apart from the wastegate routing obviously, dont ask me why it works but it does! All tests were done with the Syvecs controlling the boost with no adjustments made.
  8. If your going with the upgraded valve springs I would go with my 280 9.9 lift cams, we did a test back to back against HKS 280 cams and we not only gained 70bhp we also gained 200rpm of spool up to!
  9. Hi Mario, 1000cc injectors will be fine if you have a decent ecu like a Syvecs to control them. The twin wastegate design I sell will definately give you a faster spool up than single wastegate, in a back to back test I did against an HKS manifold our twin wastegate manifold improved spool up by nearly 1000rpm!
  10. Yep, they are the best. Made from the best material, coated as standard, lightweight along with the best quality ring packs and made by a huge company that supplies Ferrari F1, Audi Le Mans, etc.
  11. I do my own pulleys if your interested, what colour are you after, polished, red, blue, black or purple, all listed out here http://whifbitzperformancetuning.co.uk/toyota-supra-supra-dress-parts-c-42_47_795.html?page=2&sort=4a
  12. Just because they aren't on the website doesn't mean I cant get them, give me a shout if you get stuck...
  13. I'm currently after a 2JZ crankshaft with std sized journals in good condition, anyone got anything? Thanks Paul
  14. I keep all the Motul oils in stock which are one of the best brands you can get. I would recommend the 5W50 Sport oil which is a single ester oil or if you want the best then the 300V but that needs changing every 3000 miles. I keep loads in stock if needed and can offer good discounts to club members. Give me a shout if you need some.
  15. Simple, use Mahle pistons, they are the best about. Proven by myself and Jamie.
  16. Sensible large offers accepted for the car, there is no rush to sell so looking for 38k. It's a race ready car, you could turn up at a Time Attack event and a be a front runner from the off. Its had a huge amount of development work done over the years, the car was and still is getting faster and faster. And as Tim said it can be used on the road, driven to and from the track. Could be converted back to a full road car if needed to.
  17. Updated list 1. caseys - paid 2. garyafc - paid 3. RHochreuter - black silicons - paid 4. FrankR - black silicons - paid 5. supra matt - paid
  18. I'm posting this up on behalf of the owner Steve Linton. His Garage Whifbitz preparred Supra is currently for sale. Here is a bit of history on the car: Originally a road car supplied by Garage Whifbitz, the car has progressed from a fast road to track day to Time Attack car over the last 4 years. Finally this year the car was upgraded even further to take part in the Euro Saloons championship. After progressing from a fast road car with a PHR stage 1 turbo conversion it became evident that it was too quick for everyday use, so the car was developed into a track day special. Focusing on making it handle better and stop quicker it became a great tool to use on track but could still be used to drive to and from the circuits. A year later Garage Whiftbitz, who at the time were preparing to compete in the UK Time Attack series and the European Drift Championship, suggested that the car could be used in the Time Attack series with a few modifications. The idea was to build/modify the car to compete but also to still be able to drive the car to the circuits and prove that a reliable and competitive car could be produced. This was achieved and the car ran successfully during the second half of the 2007 season. For the 2008 season, the car was further modified, learning from the 2007 season what was needed from the car. Garage Whifbitz started to develop tuning parts for the supra and the car became a test bed for these during the 2008 season and along with driver improvements the car became mid field competitive, showing some decent results. In 2009 the success of the 2008 season brought new sponsors and deal that meant the car could be further developed and tuned to give even more performance. Time Attack was still the championship of choice and Garage Whifbitz started the season with a second supra and the duo became a formidable force to compete against. So much so that the pair bought home the 1st and 2nd place titles for the RWD Club Class championship, with this particular car being the winner of the class series. 2010 again saw this car competing in Time Attack and defending its title. More performance was gained and the car became a far more track oriented weapon, more focused on performance and less on road bias. More suspension work was carried out and a power increase was needed to keep the competitive edge that the series demanded. This was achieved and due to the overall pace of the two Garage Whifbitz supra’s and our main competitor in the series we all had to move into a pro class. The season hads its highs and lows and the two supras ended up 2nd and 3rd in the new class against a formidable opponent, with this car attaining 2nd place. 2011 saw a change in direction for the car, as it was decided to try a wing-to-wing race series instead. This meant significant changes for the car and team. No longer could the car be a ‘road/race’ vehicle as the series dictated that slick tyres would be needed. With the modifications done to coolant, suspension and further power increases the car entered the Euro Saloon championship. The view was to take the car to the next level and use the first season to see how competitive the car could be and what was involved. Having competed for approximately half the season the car managed a podium 3rd result in its 3rd race outing, which considering the competition was very impressive. With a change of direction for the owner and other ventures to look to in 2012, this car is now up for sale. The significant amount of time, effort and expense that has been put into the car is now available for someone else to enjoy and take onto the track (or road!). It’s full specification can be seen here : http://garagewhifbitz.co.uk/whifbitz-cars/steve-lintons-time-attack-supra-2/ …and a build thread for the majority of the work can be seen here : http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?177142-SteveL-s-(Garage-Whifbitz)-Supra-race-car-build http://garagewhifbitz.co.uk/category/steve-lintons-time-attack-supra/ Here a few pictures from a few races it competed in this year:
