  1. Update - I'm not leaving Germany in September anymore. I'll be staying through the beginning of next year. August Dragonball? Where we going?
  2. *subscribed* I have a noise also and fear it may be the crank pully. I've already sourced another factory one just in case. Have you tried taking off the accessory belt and turning the engine over? I've heard (only heard not tested) this helps to eliminate all the accessory pullys and is not damaging if it's only done for a short period (water would not be pumped through the engine).
  3. Welcome and good luck finding the Supra you want. "Good things come to those who wait."
  4. Gaz, Aachen is 25mins down the road from me. If I can help in any way, let me know. If you need a place to crash or would like any help getting your supra back to the UK, maybe I can help. Are you sure it's the connectors? I have six of the connector inserts I ordered from Toyota down in the basement. Hit me back.
  5. Tom, you been drinking your coolant again? We may be able to work something out between now and then. Either I'll be out your way, or you may have to come down my way. As much as I'd like to say that they'll cancel this trip to Vegas, I know it's like 99% sure I'm going.
  6. Figured it out with a little help from the BFH. Anybody have a schematic for the wiring? Polarity wise there's a blue wire and black wire running to the pump. I didn't find this in any of the three threads and it's not in the instructions. I assume that black is black, and blue is red (standard) and that's how it appears in this thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=57473&highlight=walbro If this is wrong, please let me know before I blow myself up or destroy the pump. Actually by the time you post it will be too late. Oh well. *Fingers crossed*
  7. This is a great guide, but I've run into a snag. I'm unable to get the large banjo fitting to budge. It just keeps turning the whole unit. Any suggestions for keeping it in place? I don't want to bend/break any of the other nozzles coming out of the top of the pump assembly. Edit - Got it. Just attached a bigger ratchet and gave the ratchet a quick smack with a mini mallet. The shock freed the banjo.
  8. Yeah, please do Steve. I'm doing it right now. Might be helpful. Cheers. Mike
  9. That's the one! Thanks a million. A++ Gold star!
  10. I'd buy it. It's ugly as hell, but with the right paint and a different set of wheels and a rediculously huge motor/blower, it would be fun to drive once a month.
  11. LOL.. I once woke up having a bad dream that some one was stabbing me in the chest. I'd gotten hammered on gin and beer the nite prior at my new base and had just moved into the dorms. I woke up to find all my new "friends" laughing at me from the balcony above. I was laying in the grass naked, sunburnt, and was on a sprinkler head that was trying to pop up. Welcome new guy!
  12. I know, use the search button. I've been digging through threads for two days and can't seem to find it. Somebody had done a great write up on fitting a walbro with pictures and everthing, but it's as if it's been deleted. Anybody know where a thread is with the "how-to" on walbro install? Much appreciated.
  13. I've done it again. Where's the damn ibuprofen....
  14. Hey y'all, lets put some attention into this thread. I need an excuse to hang out with Pig.
  15. Even I was like, wtf when I read that.
  16. Ouch. Time to rebuild the head me thinks, but somebody with experience in this department will be along soon with better advice.
  17. Still gutted I won't be seein you boys down at the ring. *wishes for Vegas trip to cancel*
  18. I finally have a four day weekend to try and get this done if my garage is open. Do you have (or does anybody have) your settings for you Tein SS's? Also, if anybody has an install guide or link to thread with one, I'd appreciate it. I'm mechanically inclined but have not installed coilovers before.
  19. Welcome Niko. I can't believe nobody said this before. Nice supra.
