Bit of advice. If you do it yourself get some food bags and label each part you take apart and keep it in a bag, also label all wiring as you remove and I mean all, It will make life alot easier.

Nope heater matrix is only for hot air I believe. As its part of the engine cooling system. air con is completely separate.

I Know fuck all and do Ok... Ok I'm lying just a bit...left school with nothing and paid off my own back to get qualified. That was just for jobs mind you. Being self employed means you make your own way and reputation and word of mouth counts not qualifications. Although I do state to everyone who asks GO TO SCHOOL AND LEARN!!!! If I could turn back the clocks I would never have my head out of a book and would be alot happier in life.. I HOPE!! -

John handy had the same problem! Bodgers way, you don't have to remove the dash only unplug the sensor.
