  1. Cars = boring:( Did you see the blonde girl in the white top stood behind Clarkson during the news. She's got to be the Top Gear babe of the series:love:
  2. How do you change the cam belt without removing the crank pulley and lower belt cover?
  3. Leave the wheel on, remove the tensioner assembly (2 bolts - you might need to loosen the alternator to get at the back one). Carefully compress the tensioner in a vice until the small hole in the body just under the rubber piston seal lines up with the small hole in the piston and lock into place by using a small allen key or drill bit. Fit the belt over the crank and cam pulleys making sure the belt is tight between the crank and intake cam, then slide the belt over the tensioner pulley. Refit the tensioner and tighten the 2 bolts, then pull the locking pin out of the tensioner so it tightens the rest of the belt.
  4. Put the belt on first, then fit the tensioner.
  5. 21 at start, 25 now rising to max of 26 in 2 years time + 8 bank hols or lieu days if we work the bank hol.
  6. Not sure if I'll have a spare seat yet, but if I do, i'll pick you up mate.
  7. HaHaHa /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_grin.gif GOOD. I drink less in a year than most people get through on an average Saturday night, so I really couldn't care less about this. But if you're one of those patronising, elfin saftey anti smoking nazi ban fox hunting nanny state w:taped:rs "other peoples smoke makes my clothes smell:cry:" do gooding lefty t:taped:ts, then its your turn now:rlol: Did you think they'd stop at smoking? BAN IT. BAN IT NOW! BAN IT ALL!!!! I give it a year, tops, before you're all outside, crouching behind a tree, drinking paint thinners for kicks. They first came for the foxhunters, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a fox hunter. Then they came for the smokers, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a smoker. Then they came for the petrolheads, I didn't speak up because I didn't drive. Then they came for me, and there was no one left to speak up. Welcome to the Socialist Republic of Great Britain
  8. There isn't a filter. The bits of sponge are the seals that seperate the different bits of the heaterbox and they perish over time and turn into powder. There's nothing you can do about it other than replace the whole heater box or make some new foam seals (Toyota dont sell them individually) but either way its a heater box out job.

  10. Dear Johnathan Ross, I've just shagged your daughter. Who's laughing now!! Love Gary Glitter xxx
  11. 36 and 36. Not sure if thats good, but its accurate and i've been awake for 21 hours
  12. My next door neighbour has a mint late model (W reg i think) fuel injected, but not a cooper, for sale. I can get some more details if you're interested.
  13. Next you'll be wanting it to change gear for you.. Like mine does:muahaha:
  14. Break off the last lug, drill 4 holes in the same locations as the 4 lugs used to be, being careful not to drill through the mesh, then attach using 4 small pop rivits from the back of the door card. Pull the rivits slowly or you'll snap the grill.
  15. Very carefully. Its very easy to break the plastic lugs, but its worth a try.
  16. Yes, overflow/expansion bottle. The aerial controller is mounted behind and just above the radio at the back of the dash. Pull the fuse for the radio and see if it still clicks. Edit: obviously check for gerbils first though, common fault apparently
  17. The cover and the ring are plastic welded together and are not supposed to come apart. the cover in the photo has 3 of the 4 mounting pegs broken off. In your 1st photo, you can see the one remaining metal spring clip at the top left - there are supposed to be 4 of those. To fit them properly you need to remove the spring clip, fit the grill through the door and re attach the 4 metal spring clips. You can drill and attach the grills with pop rivits from the back, but i'd send those grills back to whoever you got them from and spend the refund on some new ones from toyota.
  18. Theres not much behind the clock except for an air duct. If it was lower down in the centre it could be a relay in the heater ecu or electric aerial. The coolant is pretty much self bleeding, as long as the rad cap is in good condition. Make sure the overflow bottle is full, drive car until properly hot (20 mins or so) with the heater turned on to full, then cool down until cold and check the level in the coolant bottle and top up if required.
  19. Where behind the dash, drivers side? passenger? If there is a few air bubbles in the coolant you can sometimes get a clicking type noise behind the upper glove box as they go through the matrix.
  20. I second for Weston. Tim and RichLee from TBdev were trying to get one organised earlier this year, but didn't get enough interest. I'm sure if we can get a few supras signed up we can get the rest of the places filled with MR2s. We need about 15 - 20 confirmed before Weston will book us for a Saturday shoot out.
  21. Not seen carbon dipping in the uk, but i've heard of camoflage dipping on guns so i'm sure its possible. You just need to find the right ink film.
  22. I'm considering getting some decent drag tyres for next year. Do stock 16" rims fit over UK rear brakes, or do I need 17's.
  23. Quite a few cars and trucks have it these days. I use it in roadworks mainly - set the maximum speed you want but then have full manual throttle control up to that speed. It would be possible on a vvti with an electronic throttle and the right sort of programmable ecu, but re-engineering the standard cable linkage to allow the cruise control to back the throttle off past the pedal cable position would be just about impossible.
  24. Warwick is on the M40, I think you mean Watford Gap, between 16 and 17 on the M1
