Cheers Ian, and what would standard tyre size be?

So 45 profile all round then? In terms of width they are correct for the rears - so no smaller (I don't particularly want to) I'm just trying to understand better

Guys I know this has been done to death, but help me out (I've done a search but have no idea if I'm honest) Standard 16 wheels : Current set up Rears: 245 50 16 98v Fronts: 225 50 16 98v Its always been twitchy - not an issue - tyre pressure seems ok - need new rear tyres so now I'm assessing the tyre set up and wondering if there is a better set up. I'm also struggling to find a place that sells 245 50 16s (off the shelf without having to wait weeks for them to be delivered), so if ever there was an opportunity to make some changes all round, now seems the best time I'm dumping the car at a local friendly garage tomorrow, so some recommendations before then would be great

I've been around....just working long hours. I killed the clio the other week [cambelt snapped...] now I have to drive the Supra every day. Its a hard chore!!!

ah okay......plan 2 will be put in motion I think in which case. I know a friendly garage who fixed my alternator last month. I'll ring them up in the morning and flap my arms a bit. Seems to work. Thanks guys

I've killed it. 50 yards from my house, the car cuts out, it turns over freely as you would expect it to, but doesn't catch. Any ideas on whats happened? I guess I'll drive the Supra to work then..........
