245 45 16s rears 225 50 16s fronts seem to be the consensus and I'm happy to go for that. May as well get four new tyres in light of the directional thingey (thanks Ian and Scooter) What time do you open in the morning Phil? My very wonderful colleague is following me down there and taking me back to work and then back later during the day..... Small world huh? -

pass on the last point, I honestly have no idea - but I like the sound of four new shiny boots even more now - just in case! if it wasn't so dark I'd accommodate with the picture. (I had a lonely mobile and no digital camera so photo opportunity not there - sorry!) -
Well Dave seemed like a nice chap when I spoke to him on the phone the day before, also more than willing to help which is good (and I wasn't even tempted to go to the other place in Tadley ) Mobile service sounds like an admirable plan !

Daryl I didn't do anything as obvious as checking the sticker (typical woman I know!) I used Bracknell tyres before I wrote off my original set of wheels .... (recalls the event as if it was yesterday) -

so is it okay to run 50 on the front and 45 on the rear? The two front tyres don't match either (different direction of tread if that makes sense). -

Ah yes I even made some form of eye contact with him. I dragged a colleague with me for reinforcements though - after much difficulty at the weekend at various tyre establishments! New rubber stuff - how exciting - tell him to ignore the lack of tread on the rear tyres !

Ah yes - that was me - going back tomorrow now - they didn't believe me when I told them my tyre size........(if I was a man they probably would have accepted what I told them - rolls eyes)
