    Na-t power

Boostlogic reckon 300 RWHP at 7psi or 450+ RWHP with a 2.5mm head gasket + other mods, but if you were going to go really crazy, wouldn't it be easier to start with a GTE?
  2. Created by Welsh writer Russell T Davies Produced by BBC Wales Filmed in South Wales Starring Scottish actor David Tennant British, mate.... British
  3. There would be a lot of satisfaction in owning said monster, but I think you'd agree it would require a lot of dedication and enthusiasm. A Mk3 is on the list of cars I'd like to own, but I'm afraid I'd take the easier route and go for a 2.5 TT.
  4. I think there's a rumour that they blow head gaskets.... Bryan, according to mkiiisupra.net, the JZA70 (2.5 TT) was available as an Aerotop. As Scooter said, not that common in the UK, even as a hardtop.
  5. At least they are advertising it as a '93.
  6. 3 litres? I think you'd need to be a pretty dedicated Mk3 enthusiast to risk a 7M-GTE. A manual 1JZ on the other hand.....
  7. Supra GA70 with the 1G-GTE (there's also a version with the non-turbo 1G-GE, believe it or not). The Aussies get big power out of them. EDIT: Snap!
  8. With added resistors http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=42029
  9. MPH speedo is required by the Construction & Use Regs, but it's not checked in the MOT, so ........
  10. Does the wheel fit snugly on the hub spigot? Most aftermarket wheels need a ring to fill the gap between the hub and the centre bore of the wheel and to take the weight of the car. The studs are there only to clamp the wheel to the hub. http://planetsoarer.com/offset/studs.htm EDIT: Just noticed that Supra-Man asked the same question....
  11. That was me. Couldn't take them for that price, though
  12. Just pop down to your local Jeep dealer...... SRT8, 6.1 litres, 425bhp, £39k http://www.chrysler.co.uk/chrysler/versions.aspx?ID=248,17,159&modelID=17&deriv=159&ManufacturerId=&DealershipNo=&AddressRefNo=&DealerName=&stamp=0.947044864762574
  13. No, but they'll fit The Soarer TT and the V8 with active suspension have the same size front discs as the J-Spec JZA80. A number of sites list the same sizes for all Soarers, but the other V8s and the 3-litres have smaller brakes. Just meant that DBA seem to list accurate info.
  14. According to the DBA catalogue (and they are one of the few sites to have the correct info for the Soarer TT) http://www.dba.com.au Diameter 323mm Overall Depth 50mm Width 30mm Wear limit 28mm Centre Hole 62mm
  15. Of course not.... Soarers have them, GS300s have them.....
  16. The R154 is used on the MA71 (7M-GTE) and JZA70 (1JZ-GTE) Mk3 Supras, and the JZZ30 Soarer TT (1JZ-GTE)... and some trucks, I believe. You need the JZA70/JZZ30 bellhousing to mate it to the 2JZ, which is the tricky part. Ask on http://www.mkiiisupra.net. The W58 is in the N/A JZA80, the 3-litre Soarer/SC300, and the other Mk3 Supras, and is supposed to be weaker but smoother than the R154.
  17. My daughter will be booking her tickets then, she loved Caleb / Lucas Black. Strangely, my memories of American Gothic have more to do with the schoolteacher......

    Moto GP

The TT is just mind-boggling. Bruce Anstey was clocked at 206 mph on the Sulby Straight this year. This is part of the Sulby Straight.......
  19. Buick might have a word or two to say about that .... NOTHING sounds like a "proper" cross-plane V8 (or a V-twin bike). I subscribe to the theory that the offbeat firing pulses are a reminder of your mother's heartbeat.
  20. Sort of a hijack, but ....... I have a set of Volk wheels with very limited clearance around standard hex nuts. Does anyone have experience of these nuts with an internal "star" drive? http://www.bimecc.co.uk/star_nuts_tuners/star-nuts-and-tuners.html
  21. I think a proper oil filter socket makes it easier still
  22. True. A fox can eat rotten meat that even a dog would refuse. Apparently you really don't want to get bitten by a fox because of the bacteria they harbour.
  23. Put the PCD, offset, and centre-bore in the listing and let the prospective buyers work it out P.S. The Toyota Soarer and Lexus GS300 are ET50, exactly the same as the JZA80 (GS300 Sport may be ET45).
  24. Both of them Perhaps I spend too much time on the Australian Soarer Forum.
