  1. I want to have a go at making an exhaust heat shield for my rear bumper using real carbon fibre & high temp resin. As I have never done this before, I would like to know if I need to take a mould of the area I wish to replicate first, or can I use the bumper as a mould, just cover the area with clingfilm or something prior to applying the carbon fibre. Although, this may be difficult as the bumper is attached to a car, but I could try to get a cheap/free doner bumper to use as a mould. Any advise would be appreciated. Cheers
  2. Just tried to go online to play Black Ops but got this error code anyone else getting this?
  3. Yeah same as me. The wire from the foglight switch is just tucked out the way under the carpet in the boot, I assume it doesn't matter which way the wires go round? Anyway, you've made it sound like an easy job so I'll give it a go! Cheers!
  4. Cheers Nic, the car had a fog light fitted into the rear bumper. The switch has a orange light which illuminates when the fog light is on, I replaced the bumper so all the wiring etc is already there, so most of the guide is irrelevent, I just need to connect it up. The guide looks a bit complicated for me, I'll print it off and give it to someone who know what he's doing! Can you confirm the bulb required is 7443 (for facelift)? Thanks!
  5. At the mo my car doesn't have a rear foglight, I had it removed when I repleaced the rear bumper 6 months ago. My MOT is due at the end of the month and I need to convert one of my rear reverse lights to a fog, but I'm having trouble finding a definitive answer to tell me what type of a bulb the Facelift reverse light takes, is it definitely 7443? Oh one more thing. All the wiring/fog switch is in place from the old foglight that was fitted to the old bumper, is it easy to wire up my reverse light, or should I get a qualified auto electrician to do it for me. By the way, I'm useless with electrics Cheers
  6. I was looking at those eBay ones, but I've had simlar blades before and they haven't lasted very long, so a few weeks ago I bought a full set of these, I've been impressed with quality. http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/products/detail/wiper-blades-universal-retrofit-flat-aeroblade-21-inch-wb5-21-and-wiper-blades-universal-retrofit-flat-aeroblade-20-inch-wb5-20-twin-pack/
  7. Fitted my 6000K's today. Photo's aren't that great, had some light drizzle while testing them out.
  8. I few weeks ago I put a 3" straight through catback S/S exhaust on my N/A and removed the 2nd cat, apart from it being incredibly loud, it lost a lot of acceleration and it became very thirsty, I put the 2nd cat back on which solved the noise, acceleration & fuel problems.

I quite like Nuketown, great for earning XP. last night I managed to get enough kills get my Huey out, it's amazing how kills you can get with this thing on such a small map, if I hadn't of got the winning kill I could have got a monster score but ended up with 22/2, I think.

I think that is a fair summmery, I have only played the first campaign mission and got bored. I had similar first impressions, even for multiplayer but as I played it more and more it's grown on me, if the graphics and sound were on par with MW2, it would have been one hell of a game!

BO does have it's annoyancies, but I'm getting used to it now. It gets better as when you've played it for a while, learned the maps and unlocked the better weapons. Fave map is Jungle, and the crossbow is fun

Does anyone know if it possible to disable voice chat on the PS3, I'm sick of having to listen to a bunch of squeeky 10 year olds talking sh!t through the entire match! I know you can turn off individuals before and during the match, but don't know how to disable all voice chat in one go, is this possible?

I played for a good few hours last night but didn't experience any lag, a huge improvement on the previous couple of days.

    COD Black Ops

I think I'm going to give this game until after the weekend, if my first opinion doesn't change, I'll trade it in for Medal of Honour which I liked the look of but decided to wait on Black Ops, has anyone played both games, is so which is best online?

Anyone else find it annoying that only get 1 claymore and after it is detonated it can't be replaced when using scavenger? The only bonus is you can pick-up undetonated claymores and lay them elsewhere.

    COD Black Ops

I've been playing it for a couple of hours now, multiplayer is a bit laggy, and IMO the graphics ain't as good as MW2. I also don't like how the players run, it looks like your team mates are a bunch of gays scampering around, and when you run it makes that horrible out of sync scampering sounds, every stride you make there are 2 or 3 scampering sounds, it's hard to explain, and it's annoying. It's not a bad game, but after playing MW2 for the best part of a year it's just going to take a bit of getting used to, I'm sure it will grow on me, I thought it would be an all round improvement MW2, but so far I can't say it is.
