  1. that would be great, if its a DBB unit it will be a excellent buy for someone at that price.
  2. looks like a dbb turbo unit , water cooled. whats the exect type of turbo ?
  3. Phil, I have the triple plate version on mine and its a bit noisy . The car is in bits at the moment and i wont be putting it back together for awhile .The clutch is virtually new, if you want to see how it feels , your more than welcome to install it on your car and use it for a while. Unfortunately it's the hassle of installing it, would be the main problem.
  4. The 400se and griff are old hat , they dont have the comforts of the new cars, i would suggest if you want a change , go down the 996 turbo route.
  5. My brother and I have had 3 of these , 4.5 cerbera / tuscan / 400se ..you think the supra is expensive to run.. wait till you have one of these . I still have the 400se after 13 years, the old one are not bad , but the new ones leak oil in every oriphous !!.. but they are sexy ..!!
  6. lovely car..i believe they were known as "Widow makers" ... for the novice drivers ...thats me out ..lol
  7. ill take it please. send me your paypal details
  8. my wife hate's all the cars that i have , the only one she likes is the citreon c8 people carrier that we have , I am fortunate that all my girlfirends like them instead....
  9. There is 2 versions. i have yhe black pressure plate unit not the blue and its fine ,not that heavy at all.
  10. i think buyers should be very cautious here, this may be legit, but 3 sale threads with premium items and a member for less then a month...i may be wrong, but this just feels wrong after reading all your post....
  11. do you have the papers for the full car ,reg doc's etc .. is it reg as a n/a or turbo / auto or manual ?
  12. ill take the 295*30*18 please if no one has bought them yet . pm me your paypal details please . can you ship ?
  13. i got a pretty much brand new one , used on the car for around 1 month . I need a 180amp one now due to my fans , amp etc.. £90 + £10 postage
  14. talk to stewardW , the blue drag supra at POD he has one installed. It will cost you twice as much as a 6sp conversion.
  15. jamie's got a good idea there !! 5sp are cheap to buy..how much is this going for ? is it a v161 box ?
  16. I dont think the box was weak , you have to consider the amount of power that you have put through it these past several months, these units were built to hold power levels of 600-650hp , running the amount of power you have on your car will not provide reliability with any uprated autoboxs unless you run a powerglide. Having a stock box with your boost level even at low boost would kill the plates. I suggest you look at a manual conversion if you wish to retain that sort of power or a 2sp powerglide setup.
  17. a stock box is not going to hold the power you are running unfortunately
  18. bloody hell , he crashed it !! . Yes i know alot about it . pm what you want to know .
  19. This Guy seems to pop up everywhere discrediting so many other tuners and builders. I would not give him the time of day, I remember a while back when he came on the board and started to slate a build with only several post and pulling the map apart. Our mods put a stop to this immediately. Ryan you are an excellent tuner and you dont need to prove anything to anyone, let people like this get on with there lives as complete idiots. I and many other people would use you over and over again, the proof is in your reputation !!.. ps...do you know how to reply to a PM ? i think the reply icon does not work on your screen ..lol
  20. was that a single vvti conversion ? the reg look familar.
  21. i have a used set, round 2k on them . HKS 272 in/ex £550
