  1. Think I definately need to change mine, sounds way too While nailing the throttle hit it quickly twice.... I challenge anyone not to think of roadrunner

  3. Afternoon! When tightning up the nuts on my new alloys I managed to shatter the inside of the locking wheel nut key I've got the registration card from Mcgard so I can send off for a replacement in Germany, but they're asking for a cheque written out in Euro's, which my bank informs me can't be done over here Has anyone here ordered a replacement key from Mcgard before?

    Bastards!

I don't blame you, things like this make my blood boil Wasn't trying to reduce the seriousness of your incident by comparing it to mine btw

    Bastards!

WTF????!! Is this what it's come to now? You can break into a car with a 0% chance of actually being caught and brought to justice? WTF is going on? I'm in the wrong f***king profession!

    Bastards!

I feel for you mate, like Faye said the pics remind me of when mine was broken into. I know there's no 'bright side' to something like this, but at least everything's still there and there's no internal damage Could have been much worse, could have ended up like mine: Hope you catch the scum who did it and give them the punishment they deserve
  7. I wouldn't have thought that the police would be filming via a helicopter unless it was a planned chase or arrest And as Rogue says, why is he running?
  8. Happy birthday And congratulations on the Supra!
  9. Going from my experience with an auto, you don't get any positive boost in neutral, but the air that builds up at WOT is enough to sound the BOV quite loudly My boost gauge reads exactly 0 (no boost and no vacuum) when in neutral at WOT.
  10. This may be a totally stupid question, but could the fluttery noise just be turbo stall? As in the wastegate / actuator etc is blocked, and on lift off all the air is going straight back through turbo no1? I've heard somewhere that the sound of the turbo blades being stopped suddenly by backpressure can cause that fluttery noise..... but again that may be complete rubbish
  11. As far as I know the turbos don't spool on an auto in neutral or park so I'd think that was normal.... unless someone with some actual knowledge cares to correct me!
  12. Those wheels are nice Don't change the colour it's superb!!
  13. You can say that again! Great pic!
  14. According to ITV news the protesters are NOT planning a blockade, simply picketing. Even the organisers are encouraging people not to panic buy.... yeah right!
  15. Wow!! What a car. Glad I'm not on 56k
  16. Okay I think I've got the perfect ending for this thread..... if you like cricket then...... WELL DONE THE ENGLAND TEAM If you don't........ WE DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK
  17. Bugger, there goes my "I can't make it into work today" excuse
  18. A tip that txdgav gave me when I had battery / alternator probs with my other car.... buy a multimeter (about £5 from maplins) and get a reading from the battery when the engine is off (easy). Think this should be about 14.2 if it's healthy. Then start the car and the voltage from the battery should go up - because the alternator is providing it with extra charge. If the voltage decreases when the engine's running then it's almost definately a knackered alternator. Can't help you with the bushes inside it etc, but for £5 can save yourself a lot of hassle replacing parts which may be fine
