  1. I *think* I remember a story about this..... someone got clamped and managed to deflate the tyre and remove it. They then took it to the police station (undamaged) and handed it in as lost property. The clamping firm had no legal basis to complain as no damage was caused to their property.
  2. mmmmmmm, planning on making "Getaway in Cumbria?"
  3. I'm afraid I don't know much about IACV's etc, but bear in mind that if you have an auto transmission it won't build up positive boost pressure unless you're on the move (as far as I know), so revving at a standstill might not give an accurate picture of what's going on,.
  4. Sticking VSV perhaps? Take a look in the FAQ and see if this explains it; http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=35926
  5. I think it's bad news mate I think the new laws state that you have to either tax a vehicle or declare a SORN. You can no longer not tax a car / bike and just rely on not getting caught. *waits patiently for someone to tell the truth*
  6. It's not just you mate, take a look here, I said exactly the same thing; http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=51296&highlight=optimax+blue
  7. yeah I love that one.... "No mate it runs on f***ing bad language!"
  8. I don't want to start an argument about this Doug, but do you know the reasoning behind these restrictions? I remember reading about this and thinking how completely OTT it is. Surely if it's "safe" to have a random garage's name and number under your plate then other text is safe too. If it gives the police an advantage in fighting crime I could understand it.....
  9. Wow! Trying to drift do you think?
  10. No I wasn't being ironic, I was being a pratt!!! Oh my god it's going to be a long night, I'm braindead already *runs and hides*
  11. I love Lee Evans! (his comedy abilities before anyone makes a comment). The first time I saw his wembley show I nearly wet myself
  12. The questions that nearly EVERY person asks when they find out you've got a supra - The bits after are what I feel like saying, but out of politeness never do; "I bet that goes fast doesn't it?" No mate, it's a 3 litre straight 6 twin turbo but it can't outrun a milk float "What's the insurance like on that then?" Oh, £2.50. What do you think, it's a sports car! "How fast does it go?" Well, if I push the pedal on the right it can go... well, very fast. "A supra? Isn't that like a subraru?" Yeah, except it's rear wheel drive, a coupe and not based on a rally car. Sorry for the rant, I know people are just being polite, but it's getting a bit repetitive being so damn popular
  13. Don't go for the iTrip unless you have absolutely no other option. When I used one it was unreliable, the sound quality was poor and when I went anywhere inside the M25 (maybe not a problem for you!), there were so many legit and pirate radio stations that it was impossible to get a clean signal.
  14. Wow Don't mess with that guy! That's proper action film type skill!
  15. Yeah, they still look great today Mine spends at least half of every month sitting on the driveway... but every time I go out and or get home, I can never resist having a look
  16. I can't be bothered to read 5 pages of this thread so I'll skip straight to my opinion lol Personally I work in London (square mil) and 99% of the time I don't like the place. I couldn't stand the idea of living here. BUT.... ocassionally (and Christmas is usually one of those times), I take time to properly see the sights and the history, rather than the over-paid world of glass buildings and porkers. At these times I completely fall in love with the city. I remember when I started working up here 5+ years ago, my dad took me out on a lunch break and explained some of the history to me.... wow Within a short time you can visit the spot where the great fire was apparantly started, see where Jack the ripper found his victims and walk past the pub where Dickins wrote the pickwick papers The sheer number of historial sights is amazing, even more so when you consider the small space they're all in.
  17. If you want some more subtle or family friendly ones try http://www.itiswhatitis.co.uk very good service and the T's are good quality I've bought so many of them I've hardly got any "serious" T-shirts left
  18. Wasn't it Autoglass 1 Sods law 3 at half-time? That's a hell of a comeback!
  19. I think it looks good... not too OTT and different And a bit brighter than the old black plastic look.
  20. That's strange, I don't have one on the passenger side either Even stranger is that when I noticed I took a look at my mate's pug 306, which also only had one on the drivers side!
  21. On his short time on the BBS he accused a long standing member of selling fake goods, tried to sell his products via PM, and was caught on another forum pretending to be someone else, telling eveyone that "KARacing rocks!" in order to gain influence. Doesn't sound like a genuine guy to me. Good riddence.
