See that's what's great about this forum... from a simple question regarding bezels comes the solution to a problem that has plagued mankind since dawn began..... how do I make a curved sandwich?

They are round.... just flat as well. The bezels on the dashboard however are curved, especially the outer two, so you have to bend the surrounds to fit.

I've got a set of miami-gt's metal bezel surrounds to fit..... the web site recommends heating them in water before bending them to fit the curvature of the dash. The problem is my usual adventure with such a task involves: Try, try harder, try even harder, then break it. I'm looking for any tips from people who've fitted them, I know it's not a large task, but any advice is welcome

Nope, not yet I've got 101 things to do on the car and this is about number 80 I managed to find a thread on supraforums that showed 3 JL 6" subs in the standard enclosure space so there's definately room available there.

I'd be interested in a bit of a better setup too, just one of those things that makes the day to day driving of the car a bit better. At the moment I've got wipers that life themselves off the windscreen at 80mph anyway A good way to slow yourself down in the rain!

Maybe they mean instincts as in slam on the brakes and fill your pants. Any chance we can move this thread into members only so the other car forums don't see it?

You turn the same direction as the back end's going, ie if your going right round a roundabout the back could go left... turn to the left to balance it out. Turning to the right would make you spin surely! That's what's meant by turning into the slide as far as I know!

This went around the mondeo forum a couple of years ago, I think a copper from the site thought it was a fake (notice the blue string holding parts of it together in the first pic). I still think it looks real enough though, shocking!

Although I'm right across the country from the start and finish, this would be a superb journey, definately something you'd remember for years Doing it all in the sunlight would be an epic achievement, but as others have said you'd have to commit yourself to braking the law :thumbdown
