  2. So, you were't keen then....... (Sound of running foot steps disappearing in the distance................ )
  3. That could have ended up very nasty, looks like they both got out tho.
  4. Are you using both supe's at the same time? or is one off the road? could you not use the 'zaust off of the other car for a while? (of course if you are using both I'm just spouting a load of crap)
  5. Isn't there some problem with these as regard to shattering? the only reason I ask is when you look at the disc the grooves all end up at the bottom of one of the "waves" and that goes against all my training in engineering, ie the grooves creating stress risers at the weakest part of the disc. Of course the other reason is laying out on a roundabout close to where I live, there is perfect segment of one of these disc's just lying there where it broke exactly in accordance with what that engineering knowledge said it would.
  6. I think penguins petrol price comment is connected to Carlo's comment about selling up because he could not afford the petrol.
  7. Sheena darling, you shouldn't go to those sorts of place's,
  8. I've got a 94 NA and its got the "beep".
  9. The ratio's must be different surely? else why does the NA max out about 150 and the TT get to around 170? the engines both rev upto about the same (the TT just gets there quicker ) Or is that governed by the diff ratio?
  10. Errr! No, unfortunately for the poor car it never gets driven economically. Disclaimer - Thats not to say I always drive like a complete tit all the time either. But if I was worried about fuel I wouldn't have the car.
  11. Hello mate! Trig, Tigger, Trigger, this forum is getting a bit confusing, think I'll go and lay down for a bit.
  12. RESULT! Just renewed with Sky, £421 Fully Comp And its the correct model car unlike the muppets at elephant. Faye, I can't understand why you end up having to pay so much each year, unless its your tender age
  13. Canadian actually, and it sure beats the sh*t out of getting stone chips or having to shift dead bugs that have welded themselves to front.
  14. I'm running a set of P-Zeros a the moment, great grip but the rears have done 10,000 miles and their nearly gone.
  15. Heard this evening aswell, no Tsunami yet though thank heavens although some people killed on land, 8.2 on richter (Spelling?).

    PS2 probs

www.console-mods.co.uk/ps2-repairs Couldn't find any info on the court case's after a quick search but this might be useful. (If I've got the link right) Edit - can't get the link to work so you'll have to type it in.

    PS2 probs

There is a big history of this with the PS2, basically the laser head has gone tits up, it usually starts off sporadically not reading then just gets worst until it won't read anything. There were some court case's against Sony and they agreed to take the units back and repair them free of charge but there were still machines that screwed up a second time, this is going back a few years (like about a year after they first came out). Mine started to do this a couple of years back then seemed to be ok, it hasn't messed me around for about 10 months now. (Now I've said that it will probably pack up tomorrow ) I'll see if I can find some more info on this, this is only from what I can remember from back then but it was a big story in the news.
  22. After the last three posts, ^^^^^^^, I think this thread needs moving to "Technical".
