  1. First I'd try a punch thats just a hairs thickness smaller than the pin so there's less chance of it drawing in. If that didn't work I'd drill them out (carefully). HTH
  2. Happy Birthday fella!
  3. Yes, but unfortunately some of us live in bungalows! (Disclaimer - to my wife - I know you read this board, the above is merely a joke, please don't hit me............again )
  4. Thats not the case fella, you guy's are alway's welcome here. The reason for the lack of reply's is probably down to little experience over here of lowering the Supe that far. Our roads, in general, are pretty bad so we tend not to go that far with the lowering. Don't get me wrong, we have plenty of lowered cars over here, just not that far. Having said that there may be someone on here who knows something about it but they haven't seen your post yet Welcome to the board by the way and we need to see pics of your car.
  5. Silver one but without the Lambo doors!
  6. But I'm going last, ok, I hate having somebody tapping on my shoulder while I'm busy.
  7. Hello fella and welcome to the board!

    Hello and Welcome!
  10. In addition to Jake's comments, I would double check that quote from elephant, they have a tendency to quote for the mkiii NA supe not the mkiv especially if you did it online (They did this to me) Hello and welcome BTW!

    I need a bra

    Help!!

I'm pretty sure the miss fire is down to water in an electrical connector somewhere, disconnect plugs in engine bay one at a time and blow them through to dry them. The white smoke is from moisture not oil, oil burns blue. That could be down to a lot of water in your exhaust, we have had a lot of rain these last few days. Trying not to be the harbinger of doom, but those symptoms are also associated with a head gasket gone pop. (I don't think its that)

Small hyjack Dale, just been looking in your vB Garage and your write-up say's "Long Beach Blue". I don't suppose you have a paint code and manufacturers name for that do you? After all, I am being rather helpful with this bra thread aren't I.

    I need a bra

The first time it really needed a stretch, but since then I've only really removed it to wash the car (its a daily driver) so its never had any time off the car to shrink or get miss-shapen, when there cold they stiffen up quite a bit. When you take you're new one out of the box you're gonna find that where they've folded it up to pack it there will be a lot of ridges in it, these will take a couple of hours (after you've put it on) for the sun to warm it up enough to stretch them out. I fitted mine, left it on the drive for a couple of hours in the sun then went back out and re-tensioned the fastenings to stretch it. Don't forget to fit the plastic pieces that hold the "peaks" up on the bonnet else as you drive the wind will make the bra flap and that will damage you're paint worst than any stone chip.

    I need a bra

Hey, looks like I've started a trend, soon there'll be a whole bunch of Gimps around , pervertion is contagious. Dale, when you get the bra and try to fit it, remember to leave it laying in the sun for a bit first or lay it over a radiator, they really need a bit of warmth in them to make them conform to the shape better.

    I need a bra

Dale, I've found some info for the one on mine. Its made by an american company, Covercraft, they have a european division:- Covercraft of europe 74 Maltings place Bagleys Lane London SW6 2BY http://www.covercraft-europe.com e-mail: [email protected] Tel: 020 7736 3214 Fax: 020 7384 3800 I haven't verified any of those details or numbers, I've just read them off a label on the box it came in, they may be out of date. My one isn't custom made, its for a standard supe. Also try http://www.covercraft.com because if I remember right the bra's are not advertised on the europe site only the american one but that place in london should be able to lay their hands on them from the parent company. HTH
  17. http://www.portablegarages.co.uk http://www.thoroughbred-covers.co.uk or try 01933 410851, thats a folding garage company in Rushden, Northants that do the typical folding garages you usually see, they don't have a website, but a garage to cover a car upto 15ft 6" £485 or various other sizes. HTH
  18. Probably wrote it off as good PR.
  19. He pulled over onto a disused part of the track for a few seconds to play about with something on the car (from inside), blipped the throttle a couple of times then went off again by that time a few had passed.

    crash damage.

I thought that too, Phil the fixer's car is very close to that shade, had a look at some photo's from last years Santa Pod meet where I saw it last to check out some details, Phil's is an Aero-top so its not his car thankfully.
