  1. I've only heard of "Coopers" as remoulds that are mostly used on rally cars. Thats not to say they don't do others, just not heard of them.

    Brakes

When you do get the pedal to a point were the brakes are effective does the pedal still travel but slowly? This would indicate a leak. If the pedal go's hard and stays hard it's air in the system.
  3. As I understand it, its just a case of dry solder joints where the LED's are fitted, just take it out, strip it and apply some fresh solder, should see it working fine again.
  4. Emin does do the fix on these, not sure if its him that does the exchange for £75 tho. HTH
  5. When I did mine I also aquired the shim kits (between pads and pistons) and fitting kits (the spring that stretches between the two pins). They will probably work with-out, but you may get some nasty noise's and pad rattle.

    fuckers!!!

Agree with your sentiments entirely, sorry to hear this.
  7. I glad it worked out OK, trial fitting the wheels on another car with big brakes was something I should of done before fitting the UK's to mine, but luckily I had about a millimetre to spare also. Its probably better to find that out beforehand though. rather than just stick em on and hope.
  8. "Get ready.....Get ready...... its gonna jump out of there any second now......ready..."
  9. " I can't remember if the Suicide Handbook said stick my head in the oven or my headlamps? "
  10. One similar to that turned up to japfest this year, original GT too, rare! I think it was the only "classic" toyota that went other than a couple of very early GT4's.
  11. Yeah! I know what you mean fella. Went to "Mr T" a couple of days ago on the off chance that they may still have some old stock for this model, well they didn't have much but I could still get the headlamp units new from them at less than a tenner each, bargain!
  12. Sounds reasonable. Also considering leaving the rim part polished instead of painted and the centres either gold again or charcoal grey.
  13. I might give it a go but I think a couple of them are gonna need to see a lathe to get some of the "kerb rash" out, nothing bad but just too much for a file I think.
  14. I bought these wheels a little while ago for the celica, there made by Rays Engineering whom I know also make Volks and gramlites but I can't seem to find a type designation for them they look a bit like Volk CE 28N's, there also very light, 4.9 kgs per rim so I'm guessing there made of magnesium. Can anybody shed any light on them? Before anybody say's, yes I know they need refurbing, thats why I got a good deal on them.
  15. I was one of the people who used to say "why upgrade, my j-specs work fine", then I upgraded to the UK's because I had warped the rear discs (again) and if I was gonna spend the money anyway I might as well. HOLY COW!!! The're as different as chalk and cheese, I've never had brake fade on the road since fitting the UK's and it just feels better when braking hard, much more confidence. I changed to braided hoses at the same time so some of it might be down to that. I'm definately a Leopard thats changed its spots.
  16. All it will cost you is a tank full of gas, some beer/food money and the desire to drive around most of the southern counties in one day.
  17. Probably spending it on beer more like. I'm good, so's Katie. Also keeping myself in the poor house through "investing in my hobby" (bloody cars, who'd ave em? )
  18. Hello Baz! Last saw you at that Boward House meet at chippenham. How's things?
