  1. hmm, did you ever use an safc? Is it up to the task or is emanage the way to go? Got the fuel pump etc, pretty much looking to throw in 550s and up the boost a bit more.
  2. At 1.2 bar i dont doubt this. I got the impression he was asking for the minimum upgrades required for running hybrids, at stockish boost levels the 440s should suffice? Off topic - is heckler using an safc? I need to up to 550s at some point.
  3. They are indeed, looks very much like my car but wasnt me!
  4. Larger injectors etc are not vital unless upping the boost significantly. I'd say the only minimum requirement with hybrids is a fuel pump to be safe.
  5. Hopefully should be able to make it, I'll see if i can get nitro the old bugger out as well before he sells his machine
  6. I have the same one! Think the g/f got it from hamleys
  7. Found anywhere localish? (I'm assuming the list isn't definitive, just where people have found it so far?)
  8. I really thought they'd have it around london, got one more to check - optimax at 93pence is a killer!
  9. imi you found a tesco in west london that does the 99RON? Cant find it anywhere!
  10. I had an ECU 14 error code. Symptons pretty much as you described, though not quite as bad. In my case one of the wires into the ECU was broken, tdaxgav may be able to tell you which one as he sorted it out properly for me after my botch job!
  11. I cant remember if you said you had a walbro fitted? Maybe thats why? I think Homer said his fuel regulator helped him out. Is there a certain band of figures you want to be in under full boost? i.e. between 11 and 12 for example. Tried searching but nothing definitive. And again, anyway of knowing if its ok to up the boost form this graph, or is it a case of increasing it then dyno again to see hows it doing? So many questions! Feed me techie stuff tech gurus. I must learn
  12. Hey all, Had the car stuck on a dyno. Could someone please take a look at the AFRs for me and let me know if it looks safe? The car was running 1.1bar, hybrids with full decat and walbro. Sorry for the poor quality pics. Thanks in advance!
  13. Guilty! But spotted at last woohooo! Were u there with the supe mate? Didnt see any

    speakers?

Phew! There i was thinking i was being all clever. But yes, the 6.5" are mounted on mdf rings to the door card and the diff in sound quality is amazing.

    speakers?

Just a wuick question about the air box everyone mentions. I removed mine when fitting the new front speakers (6.5"). Am i right in assuming it is purely their for the stock speaker, as in a ported box? Or should i really leave the box in for another reason?
  16. LOL! I think the RR is in surrey, I'll just be heading to the workshop and following the crowd form there. (Workshop in basingstoke)
  17. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=36510 There you go.
  18. Really dont want to get involved in another hybrid war, but yes i've had the miami-gt hybrids in for a few weeks now. Running at 1.1 bar, alongside a walbro FCD etc etc. All i can say is they are everything I wanted. Quick spool, and great power all the way to xxx mph. Hard to describe but they feel very solid compared to my old j-spec units, and most importantly force a huge grin on my face! As mentioned, will be down on sunday for the rolling road day. Personally more interested in how the AFR's are looking rather then power at the moment.
  19. ok ok i hear ya Chris, but as its in i should at least check to see if it works.
  20. The blitz bov is mounted down the other side of the engine! Guess i could run a hose across? Or can i block off this hose and then the pressures vented by the blitz? (Random attempt at being techie)
  21. Cheers lads, will give it a go. From memory, i think theres about 3 hoses going into the stock bov, can't find a pic but can someone point me in the direction of the right one to remove? Although i guess a bit of trial and error shouldn't hurt.....
