Hey peeps, Going to attempt a boost gauge install today. What diameter vac hose do i need? I've searched around, got a fair idea of how to fit it but no idea about the vac hose. Also fitting to a pillar pod, where do i get power for the light from? Thanks for help as always

Yeah either that or your not hitting the pedal hard enough splurge! Search seems to bring up dot 5.1 or 3.1 fluid?

Me too me too! But happpens when i floor it, normally from stand still. Big red triangle and handbrake light, if i ease of it usually goes off. Though once it felt like someone had pulled the handbrake as the car seemed to die when light came on and then carried on. Come on Ian spill the beans...

This silver ECU behind the stereo, is the polished silver box, about 8x8cm? No real markings just plain? Was going to disconnect mine and keep spoiler down permanently but not sure if its the right box! Theres so many boxes back there its unreal?!

ok had a look at all the fuses at in the engine bay - all fine. Tried tracing the wire from the switch but its part of a massive loom and i cant see where it goes. Can anybody save my mirrors?????? Its getting bad i lost a race with a 330ci cos i didnt want to turn into his lane as i couldnt see him cos mirror was pointing down!!!

Just fitted a new alpine stereo to the car, only to find later the electric mirrors aren't working for some reason? Does anyone know if these have a specific fuse i could check/replace? Or any ideas of something i could have knocked loose near the radio? Thanks

ok being an over excited noob i've managed to fit the filter! Looks right and solid but haven't driven it yet as got hungry Cheers for the offer again heckler, if it blows up on test drive later i'm sure i'll be in contact!

cheers Ian, i know i'm prob being thick and its a small job but a bit worried of pulling bits off i shouldn't be! I assume the stock piping will fit into the filter fine? Can't believe there isn't a noobie grade write up on this somewhere!

Has anyone got pics or detailed instructions on how to fit an apexi induction kit? I have the standard panel in place and theres a whole load of crap there so don't want to pull of the wrong bits! Also, how long am i looking at for fitting time? Can i get it done in an evening after work ordo i have to leave off early with this headache i've got coming on?

yeah i've heard about this elusive ECU, is it the one apparently behind the stereo? A pic or really good description of the box would be much appreciated, i remember seeing a silver box back there but that was plugged into the back of the stereo!!
