  1. nice car; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zffBAupE-Y8 is a link to your car vid me thinks, 2 things would put me off, the doors and the price - but love the colour.
  2. I'm Tellin' Y'all It's....... Sabotage!! made me smile too. answer: sabotage - beastie boys.
  3. what a let down - the name is a complete misnomer!
  4. i thought this was going to be about giving your car a name!! a thing my wife does for every car we have owned. (is it just a girl thing to name a car?) also the best guide to the supra's true age is the seatbelt label as it should have printed on it a year of manufacture which i think is following a japanese guideline. sellers may incorrectly state the year based on the dvla (UK driving authorities) documentation which, as stated above, can often be wrong.
  5. yeah but word is the japanese are one step behind the rest of the world economies and will crash bigger and brighter than the rest so 30k might become 15 or even 10k. think how our supra prices will be effected by that!
  6. there is a white 2002 6TT on http://www.japaneseusedcars.com/ under their dealer section with 36,000km for 3,260,000 yen =~ £30k to import i think.
  7. you had to do the esva test on Jurgen, does the change mean you just need an MOT or do you still have to esva a 2002 supra? (just in case i gets a windfall in the near future!) edit: got my answer - just read the other more informed linkie!!!
  8. Thanks for the warm welcome back, now to try for a life membership credit/discount. (I resign myself to this car.) it is a VR6, still got it, selling soon. it pulls great - i'd say on a par with the supra at the bottom end of the revs. however the general looks of the car are not for me. - i really only got it as a rear facing child car seat compromise but that has fallen by the way side. (that sounds bad! we are still expecting just muddling through with the cars.) so anyone wanting a 1994 blue vr6 120k - feel free to contact me! just not my cuppa - looking at blacks but which one is best? want a nice liquidy black. not yet - the interior and the engine bay are where the low miles shows best (on this car), so will get some this weekend.
  9. well, hello again. been away for a short while but could not fill the supra shaped hole in my life. (tried the wife's TT, also a celica and even a corrado but it was no use.) so for bottom dollar price, bought my 3rd supra - an N/A with 28k miles warranted - you know it is not as slow as i thought they would be! only real downside is the colour - silver (but hopefully will be changing that.)
  10. made me think of this 5SAYlRf_6bQ
  11. really, what else can you say?! are they all like this? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7636577.stm
  12. the calibra has much MUCH more..... leg room in the back.
  13. couple more came back to me while scanning my itues - Noel Redding is very good and adds perfectly to Jimi Hendrix especially on the likes of Fire. & Horace Panter - The Specials - will the original 7 ever play again? (I was just a bit young first time round.) JlGSjRI1pcc
  14. sorry i should have been clearer, i say that in desire (to ban guns) not regret.
  15. sad - one day guns will be universally outlawed.
  16. my choices; John Entwistle was the best I ever saw live - he made it look effortless. Morgan Nicholls of senseless things and for the streets was superb but now chooses to play keyboards for muse. finally Norwood Fisher - fishbone, - bonin' in the boneyard - sublime.

nah - it wasn't funny. but you can joke about anything as long as it is funny - see Sadowitz.
  18. yeah, you are correct, you only have to report if you do not stop and give full details to the owner of the other car. or if there is an injury to a third party (including for example your own passenger) and you are not able to produce an insurance certificate at the scene. s170 RTA 1988
  19. did he (the driver) or anyone notify the police? (as required by the RTA) is he going to be charged with dangerous or careless driving?
  20. also; if god was to send a saviour why not wait until we have international telecommunications? why send him/her when we have to depend on word of mouth which is open to corruption, dishonesty and simply made up crap. also what about the rest of the world, are abirigines condemned to hell because of geography? also the pascal comments are a coward's response 'ill belive because i only stand to gain' pfft. that is not belief just hedging bets. the logic stance is that god is so unlikely to be irrelevant. like my chances of winning the lottery. (i don't play but statistically i am almost as likely to win as those with a ticket.)
  21. first, you're welcome. last, it is not necessary. can you prove there is no santa clause? etc etc. just let it go.
  22. god is a device invented by humans for many purposes. first because as animals we are naturally afraid, it is a survival instict. second because when we became self aware we need to explain everything and what we could not explain we make up. third it is a fantastic controlling device, a promise you can't guarantee but has such a negative downside people subscribe in masses. everyone is entitled to believe this stuff if they want but it is a wonder in this day and age why instead of progressing away from what is a primative belief it is in fact gaining ground. it is also amazing how ready christians are prepared to believe in what 2000 year old arabs had to say when they would not trust a modern arab as far as they could see them.
  23. i'd pay to watch those olympics!
  24. it is all about the cost of petrol i am afraid. btw - very nice car.
