  1. It should work? I actually had another look at the site going from the home page and found they do the full stainless steel Goodrich hoses for £65 (or £69 coloured). This is a lot less than the TRD ones J
  2. Anyone got any opinions on these? http://www.performancecentre.co.uk/p/sv_pl.asp?VC=TYSUP01&PTC=HKB01 I know there are various options for Braided hoses, just been searching on Google and these popped up. J
  3. Maybe we should see if we can get this lot to meet up and have a mini convoy up there??
  4. OK, Don't think anything is happening on this. May see if I can get to the Oxford meet next weekend. J
  5. Dunno mate, all the originators have gone quiet. I'm up for a natter on Supes though... J
  6. Lucifer, have I missed something? Where & when are we meeting? (assuming Cribbs (TGI area) at 6pm) J
  7. I'm certain I've got UK brakes as my 17" wheel just pass the calipers, but I am looking to get some decent pads and want to make sure. Have braved the snow ( ) and taken a few pics. Please can I have opinions so I don't buy the wrong type. (I know wheels need refurb & calipers need painting & new decals!) first 2 are fronts, second 2 are rears cheers J
  8. Anything happening on this? J
  9. Yeah that's what I thought, hence the J-spec springs I picked up a while ago. Need to find some Bilsteins (missed the ones on here for £100 a few weeks ago!) and see how that works. (If you get any come in, first dibbs) J
  10. Not quite sure what to do for the best here. I may be going to Nurburgring at some point this year and have read a few posts regarding suspension. I currently have Eibach Lowering springs and KYB gas-ajust dampers. Whilst on fast A-roads the car handles pretty well, it can be a bit 'crashy' around town and can be skittish over potholes etc. (I've never been too convinced with the KYBs). It's also rather low when it comes to speed bumps, and I'm concerned about the wheels hitting the wheel arch liners if I do go to the Ring. I have a set of J-spec springs which I'm thinking of getting fitted to see how the car feels, but thought that I may as well get replacement dampers fitted at the same time. What are peoples thoughts on Bilsteins with standard J-spec springs for daily driving and would this be suitable for the Ring? I'm thinking that if I can get some decent 2nd hand Bilsteins, I'm up for seeing how I get on. If I need to buy new, I may as well go straight for the Chris Wilson set-up as this would probably be the best solution all round. Any thoughts or recommendations?? J
  11. Should be ok for Sunday 12th early eve J
  12. 1. WkdBoi2005 2. Oxygene 3. STT 4. jaymdee Sunday lunchtime good, or after the football (5pm) J
  13. would be up for Cribbs on another day though... J
  14. Hi Kev, The Apexi I sold on Ebay a while ago had 2 sets of fittings which bolted onto the Apexi metal pipe. I assumed this was to allow it to fit to non-Apexi hard pipes. Does the HKS pipe finish in a flanged type end with fitting holes? Jon
  15. LOL!! Bloody hell mate, close shave there then Pity there was no security cameras in the area, I can just imagine the scene being on Bravo "Most reckless drivers..." or whatever, with the sherriff bloke with a rubber head: "watch this reckless driver as attempts to rejoin the carriageway by jumping the ditch, with a complete disregard for any oncoming road users..." Bet you were glad you weren't in the Supra!! J
  16. Watch it folks, had the back end slide out on 2 roundabouts on the way home last night Luckily no other cars on the roundabouts at the time. Another reminder of the awesome power of the Supra and the needed with the current road conditions J
  17. Hi, I have been looking at the parts thread posted by Paul E (most usefull!!) but was confused that the exhaust studs AND the nuts both show as being 90179-10070. I've phoned Toyota and gave the guy my VIN and he says that the nuts are 90179-10070 and the studs are 90126-10013. Can anyone verify the above? I've ordered them and should be in tomorrow. cheers. J
  18. Cheers mate, I'll get the numbers and a few ordered from Toyota then before I take it to the garage. J
  19. Thanks John & Chris, I'll talk to my local garage and hope they can sort this without too much bother. I'm going to suggest soaking them with WD40 overnight and then heating the remaining 2 up prior to trying to removing. J
  20. Years ago me and a mate walk into a Sony shop as his Walkman's been playing up. Now this place was run by a couple of rather camp guys, one of which (I think the manager) came over and said: "hello, and what can can we do for you today?" To which my mate replies "I'm wondering if you can fix my Walkman" "Well what seems to be the problem?" With a puzzled look on his face, as though it's obvious, my mate says "well, it's f**cked" Cue shudder from shop manager and excalaimation of "...ooh..." J
  21. I'm sure others have had these studs snap. Please, can someone let me know what is required to replace one of these studs. Can the garage do it in situ? or do they need to take the down pipe off, risking breaking more studs ? I need to get it booked in, but want to know what I should expect to be billed for cheers J
  22. There I was - stuck in traffic on the M4 just between Junction 15 and 14 (going East, car transporter tipped up or something), when I look up and see a bright orange Supra roaring (literally!!) down the 'fast' lane on the west bound carriageway. Made my morning CJ, was that you?? J
