Not quite sure what to do for the best here.
I may be going to Nurburgring at some point this year and have read a few posts regarding suspension. I currently have Eibach Lowering springs and KYB gas-ajust dampers.
Whilst on fast A-roads the car handles pretty well, it can be a bit 'crashy' around town and can be skittish over potholes etc. (I've never been too convinced with the KYBs). It's also rather low when it comes to speed bumps, and I'm concerned about the wheels hitting the wheel arch liners if I do go to the Ring.
I have a set of J-spec springs which I'm thinking of getting fitted to see how the car feels, but thought that I may as well get replacement dampers fitted at the same time.
What are peoples thoughts on Bilsteins with standard J-spec springs for daily driving and would this be suitable for the Ring?
I'm thinking that if I can get some decent 2nd hand Bilsteins, I'm up for seeing how I get on. If I need to buy new, I may as well go straight for the Chris Wilson set-up as this would probably be the best solution all round.
Any thoughts or recommendations??
