  1. Just to kinda add... Fuel; Fill your fuel tanks - By filling to maximum and hence reducing the air space to a minimum you have reduced the water vapour to a minimum and increased the fuel dilution of any remaining water to a maximum. Turning Over: The caveat on "turning it over a few times" is that the system must reach full temp. That way moisture is neither in the exhaust system corroding it or in the oil along with incomplete combustion products leading to acidic oil (they are fully vented after a run at operating temp). 90% of your engine wear happens at startup" is absolutely true, but is less to to with "grinding engine parts" and more to do with combustion. When the combustion gases burn, they form acids which are highly corrosive when their vapours condense. These acids collect in the upper cylinder areas where their temperature is raised above their dew point. The acids condense and etch the cylinder walls and piston rings. In reality, this accounts for over 85% of engine wear, the other 15% being down to abrasion. Without a full run to completely vaporise and evacuate these acid vapours you will do a lot more harm than good to your engine.
  2. Looks like a "candy black" with a metallic red undercoat? Alsa do it: http://alsacorp.com/products/candyconcentrates/candy.htm
  3. Why has it still got arab plates on after all this time? Surely the plates should have been changed or has it been impounded by the fashion police since?
  4. Daily Oil Burners are the way forward Cant believe you drive your supra daily!

  6. As an Ex IT Bod that went out on call, the fees remained the same for all.
  7. No limit. As a business owner, I wish to be able to employ the very best staff I could, sometimes that want commands top dollar. If said manager/CEO whatever effects company turnover/profit then they are worth every penny imo.

    Number 7

    Looks good, nice colour too
  9. Eyefinity works well for racing games although 3/4 screen setups have been around donkeys years with SLI/Crossfire. Nice setup Malcolm although I would do away with those silly fisher price things
  10. Planetside2 looks like the first halo online just on a larger scale. I think they have missed the boat by about 5 years.
  11. I would love to say late nights as I'm still here but I drive to the office, not that I'm a big drinker though. They have accumulated from people random people that think it is the normal to pay for work with beer, worth a fraction of labour costs, instead of money.
  12. Ah yes, forgot about that, probably the second best supra moment was organising the first supra pod. Epic day!
  13. RAM config is all wrong. A big sign of being built by some oik that does not know what they are doing. No mention of Model motherboard along with no HDD, CDRW or RAM brand. Certainly not a fast PC and will only just run said games on very low settings. £280 inc the monitor is not a bad price and would make a pretty good bog standard rig.
  14. Great thread! 1 - The day I picked mine up and drove her home. Common for most but its a bit of a grin central 2 - I was out for meet several miles away in London, a few of us were lost but got chatting to a guy that was driving a fezza 360 with a smug mate. He used to own a Supra, and its kinda how we got chatting. We all decided to move on to a different location/route, I was walking back to the supra when the fezza's passenger shouted "try to keep up". I obliged, and the look on his face as I overtook at 'many a lepton' was priceless. 3 - Loads of shouts of "nice car" always seem to put a smile on my face.

    Laptops

Its the wrong time of year to buy a lappie.
  17. http://www.magicaljellybean.com/ Steam has a backup/restore feature.
  18. Its always best to do a complete reinstall when adding a new primary HDD.
  19. Condition, followed by history (for resale).
  20. What chip is it and what temperatures are being reported in the BIOS and by say CoreTemp? I doubt it is heat related but its your easiest fix. I would rig it up to another PSU next. If nothing changes and everything is unplugged (Cards/drives etc) then its most likely a capacitor on the motherboard having issues. Brand of the Motherboard?
