  1. I was hypnotized in front of 100s of people some years ago, I acted the whole thing out, was not hypnotized at all. I had to wear these big specs and act as if everyone was naked. I only went thru with it cos if I didn't I would make everything (and me) look shit, but my acting was shit anyway, so catch 22 (sorry for thread hijack)
  2. I use http://www.phantombidder.com/PhantomBidder/Default.asp Bid 5 secs before the end, never failed me yet

    Pikey Or Posh

Type in your postcode and see where you fit in: http://www.upmystreet.com/enter-location/l/?fpage=%2Flocal%2Fmy-neighbours%2Fneighbourhood-profile%2F I think I'm posh, me
  4. Sorry to hear it, but nice car all the same! The only time I have used a bodyshop (similar problem to yours) was one off Bayham St in Camden. They did a PERFECT job, they have a heated room that dries paint so all nice & pro. If that is your area lemme know and I will get proper details
  5. Sounded real nice, private Supra No. plate too
  6. He did a lot for UK hip hop early on but now he's a laughing stock. His dad's a vicar you know...
  7. Hi everyone, I just bought this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=4583110132&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT I have a Blitz boost controller, and now I'm wondering whether or not they will work together? I' not that fussed about the electronic features of the guage, but it will AT LEAST work and show the boost level, right?
  8. Come on everybody there has got to be someone who can help the gal out here! Are we a true club or just fair weather friends? Someone genuinely needs some help, what if it happened to you? I will give someone a lift down from London if they want I am not bothered about petrol cost when something evil like this has happened and I would do it myself but I know nowt about cars (just how to drive 'em).
  9. Mine is facelift and non-vvti, the vvti are from '98 onwards I think. The white one for sale is deffo facelift. I think the colour puts people off, plus it is more a dry weather car, not many buyers in Scotland I don't think?!
  10. Was it a wobbly ride or stay smooth?
  11. I'd like to see a pic of a worse supra than that - can there be one? The wheels should be on a VW camper van

    DASH Resprayed

Usually not keen on red but that does look a good un
  13. Ken Livingstone has decided to extend the congestion charging zone westwards despite nobody agreeing with him and against all recommendation. So much for democracy. Anyway, it means that mugs like me will have to pay £8 per day to drive in it. So that means a 15 minute commute by car costing a daily £8, or a 1 hour commute by tube and bus. What a load of bollocks. BUT I can get round it if I get an LPG car cos they are exempt from the charge. And LPG is only 40p per litre. But I don't know the first thing about em! Anyone?
  14. Anyone going? This will be my first one. Got a new blitz boost controller that I want to try out (THANKS Emin for installing and THANKS Dave for getting it all set up nice). Hope to do 13s, or better?!?!
  15. Full of people, I think you were too busy chatting to the birds crammed in the back to notice my wave!
  16. Nay. Don't see the point in it at all. Unless you are getting PAID to advertise their products, why do it for free?
  17. Well I don't get up until 11am so I am OK there
  18. Shit that's the best bit. What are they, just stood there with their laser guns? Suckas
  19. I got some of the stainless steel dials for my facelift. They reflected too much light, so I sprayed them with matt paint and they look cool now. Obviously you can do em any colour you want
  20. I am still waiting for my FCD after about 2 months and will name names if it does not come soon cos the LAST thing I want is this to happen to me while in the outside lane...!
  21. Bastrads is that right? I have never seen one in 10 years driving there, but I don't doubt you if you have. With all the congested roads with speed bumps and buses Regents Park is a relief when you wanna just floor it even for a SECOND without having to worry about speed traps... but you know it's owned by the crown, does that mean 'normal' traffic laws don't apply ie it's a private road? Somehow I think I know the answer already... :thumbdown
  22. Just as well you weren't caning it round Regents Park, it can be tempting I know...
  23. I just got one from here and Emin will install this weekend. I have a Jap TT, what levels & settings do people recommend?
  24. It's all about weighing up the risks. A clear dry day, open road with no traffic, warmed up car in top condition and a speed like that in a short blast (not cruising) with an experienced driver behind the wheel is alright with me. Works in Germany doesn't it. Accidents happen at all speeds, it is not speed that kills, just careless driving and/or bad luck.
