I have had my record company 15 years, started it from scratch, no loans, nowt.
High points are being able to have a stupendous record collection (owned by the company, not me of course), work where and when I want, people kissing my ass.
Low points are having to fire people (not just people, but so-called 'friends') for nicking, losses (one of my creditors went bust owing £50k, very nearly made me bust too) and having jealous people unjustly slagging me & my business (wankers).
To run your own business you have to be a jack of all trades, master of ONE, and that ONE is you have got to love the core thing that your business represents - obviously for me that's records. Suits me fine
