  1. Spotted a possibly standard looking soops with K1SS on the reg plate in deepest darkest Swindon at around 6.10 on thursday night
  2. Just out of general interest, where abouts is planet water? If its somewhere near Bristol then I would be happy to take out my ecu and let you try it in yours to see if that helps, should give a little more power as it came with some wierd little mines stamp on it!
  3. Dunno if its wether I joined up recently or what but I did join up with paypal and didnt recieve any mail about the stickers but they would take pride of place if they were sent out though!
  4. Failing that go and throw a load of tacs across the car park and pop the tyres of any moped riding scum that may materialise then do the dogs shit treatment to him or alternatively pay a local farmer a few quid to spray his house with shit!
  5. The worrying thing is that car must of had a fair whack of moolar spent on it getting it to that spec but it might well have been imported from the states,Previous owner being Stevie wonder!
  6. The only bit that really scared me is that the scooby came higher,I mean the modern day XR3i came higher on a list than the beloved supra....sob,there is no god:twak:
  7. Call me dumb but where the hell is it?????

    WTF??? (eBay)

Remember seeing that car ages ago on an american site and also the fact that its left hand drive also puts me off!
  10. strangely my car looked exactly the same as yours did before i tweeked mine a little,The paint code (I think is 199) I painted mine with your commonal household halfrauds areshole can as i knew (And yes it has 3 times) it would get battered and split but as far as it goes it looks the same as the angle that is on as its pointing skyward in relationship to the bumper,I wou8ldnt worry about it being honest!
  11. Keep seeing a silver one with a Bomex front bumper and skinny little rims, seen it around but parked on cheyney manor industrial estate
  12. So in other words someone, somewhere is gonna get nicked at thier local airport for carrying 150 grams of semtex, uuummm I see a 25 year prison sentense coming on somehow!!!
  13. No its not quite like that mate,If you bodge it up yourself it could invalidate you warrenty so get it down to them to sort it,its just a case of putting polyurethane glue down into the aperture but it needs to be done by them though mate!
  14. Its nothing to worry about whatsoever the trim is stuck in with the glue from the windscreen, its not uncommon for that to happen but it will take around 30 seconds to sort it,it just means that the glue on the windscreen was put a millimetre or two farther in than it should be,Its no big deal though and it doesnt make any odds when or where it gets done
  15. My god mate, havent seen you round in ages!!! thanks for the heads up though shaf!
  16. First off take the headlights off (3 10 mill nuts n bolts) there are several plastic clips across the front bonnet edge to be removed, then there are clips top and bottom of the intercooler intake, then you remove all the plastic inner wheel arch liner to bumper bolts on both sides and then you need to get the car off the ground slightly (parking over a kerb will be ok) and undo all the 10 millimetre bolts which secures the inner wheel arch guards and the lower panel to the intercooler, then reach in by where the headlights were and remove 2 ten mill bolts from each side and the bumper should now be off, when i done mine it buggered evry bloody thing including the lower plastic trim and the inner wing brackets, use enough wd40 and if it feels like its giving too much resistance, stop or else it WILL end in tears!
  17. Havent seen these anywhere else though and im sure you can fit the normal glass, infact if you live anywhere near the south west then I will remove your old window and put it in the new tailgate for you!!!
  18. How is import duty measured?does it go on the weight of the object or size?and what sort of shipping rates would I be looking at to bring one or multiple items again size or weight related?? Also if I said that I know of carbon bootlids (yes carbon bootlids) which would be less than 500 ish quid would anyone be up for that as a group buy??? Answers on a postcard to the usual address............. Regards Tim
  19. Could be an earth strap breaking down as that would cause similar problems, check the strap from the battery to the body work and if there is any other earthing cables from engine or box to the body work too

    who owns this car

Can I just point out that being that one was an Aero top that deserves a pat on the back for toyota that can build a car minus a roof, bend all pillars in the roll and still come out of it looking in quite reasonably good shape
  21. Yes mate,They are based in a little village called claverham the other forum that I use regularly called tatsu was set up by Alex who is the son of the owners of Avon Custom,I have done a reasonable amount of work for them in the past as they also done the (cough) MAX POWER guide to modifying books with Haynes,Kevin does do his job very well but as with anyone you pay good money for it too
  22. As being a sworn user of optimax Ive noticed more companies are coming or have had a high grade fuel out for a while,ESSO have had thiers out since the year dot but BP have not long released thier Ultimate fuel and was wondering if anyone out there runs thiers on anything else but optimax???
