I've not got my chrome Do-Luck's yet, but in preparation I've bought some of this Wheel Wax so when they arrive the first thing I'll do is apply this before I take them to be fitted. Hopefully, I can keep them looking a little bit bling for a while. The British weather and winter driving doesn't help at all, does it? I've already corroded my polished spoiler with the salt in the air on the motorway.

...and handy for parking, especially where curbs are concerned. You could take it further and have cameras installed in the wheel arches on all four wheels so you can view how close you're getting to things. A guy at work told me about a friend of his who had forward facing cameras installed in his door mirrors so he could see down a line of traffic without moving out too far. So you could end up with eight cameras in your car and flick between them all to monitor all kinds of things. What about a TV tuner, if you're in the mood to watch things or stuck in traffic. The aerial would suck though.

Yeah, I'd like to know what happens with this. If you can let us know what they say about how they came to that stupid figure and how you get on fighting it. It's a bit of a concern to the rest of us who estimate the value of our cars based on what we know is the UK market rate, and the insurance company is dictating to us that we're getting it wildly incorrect. This is a crazy thread. Nobody's answering people's questions really. Lez: The wheels coming my way are 18x9 front and 18x10.5 rear. I'm getting the aforementioned 245/40/18 front and 275/35/18 rear. I assume that means they'll be ok?

Maybe they're only deterrants, but that helps. Nothing will stop determined criminals - alarms/bolts/locks/barriers etc. It helps to avert the attention of the casual skalliwag. Perhaps it also poses a little challenge too, which is bad.

I can find meths or cellulose thinners, but if anybody knows where I can buy some "elbow grease", or perhaps if you've got some spare Jake, then that would be great! ...but thanks a lot for the tips guys, I can't wait.

I thought my car had leather... but the front and back are all 100% black vinyl. How disappointing! Looks fine until you get close and then when you plonk your bum... it's crap. Can't wait to get new seats. And then get them Gibson & Boyne'd.

Sorry if this has been posted, but I had a cursory search and didn't find anything. What kind of rear tail/brake bulbs are in the Supra? Mine's a 94 J-spec but I assume they're all the same. I want to replace them with LED ones, has anyone done this yet or found anything out about doing it? Thanks guys, and Merry Christmas!!!

HKS. Harking back to that thread about TF&TF that was on ITV the other week... see when Vin gets out of the RX7 with indiglo blue dials and the HKS gauges everywhere - SO nice. Unless your indiglo dials change from blue to green (my last ones had 7 shades of blue to green) in which case the green would match the rest of the dash area and go with Defi gauges.

Haven't done this yet, but I've got the A-pillar 2 gauge pod thing ready and waiting. The Defi system is supposed to be really good - I'm sure all gauges work just fine, so the factors are possibly cost and appearance. Autometer make lots of different gauges/colours/finishes/sizes... they seem good. I really like the HKS ones - they illuminate beautifully in blue/pinky red. But they have a sadly limited selection of gauges. The Defi ones have the cool link system, but this is extra expense. They illuminate in green I believe, and so match the normal Supra dash arrangement nicely. They would probably be my choice.

Does anyone know of any normal lights without angel eyes that fit? I don't really want to wire these up to the side lights, I just want some lights to fill the space and shine brightly with no blue hint when they're off. Am I asking too much?
