Sorry bud I was enquiring for a mate who loves beemers, he's driving his mother in laws old Escort estate at the moment!! They're getting married in June though so he just can't afford it at the mo.

So at the start of the Spanish GP the lights go out and everyone just sits on the frid for a few seconds then very slowly edges away. It'd be the slowest GP in history and an Engineering race to see who's got the best cooling on their cars.

But the race would be a million times more interesting if the best drivers started at the back and the slow crap ones were at the front! On Saturday you could replace it with whatever you wanted, you could still have qualifying and just have the top 10 drivers getting prizes - maybe 'pole position' on Saturday fun day gets you 5 championship points and 10th place gets allowed an extra gearbox change during the year.

It's nasty.

Seriously what is the problem with the idea of swapping the grid from the finishing positions of the last race? Nobody even entertains the idea!! There are no cons as far as I can see, they just need to find something to do on Saturday to keep the punters interested.

You need to wait for someone clever to ask about tuning an NA. AFAIK the basic block is strong as you like, but the 5spd gearbox on the NA won't like any additional power, and autos aren't very good for much more than about 400BHP I think. There are probably lots of other things to consider too. Decide what power you're going to want and buy the right Supra based on that. Insurance doesn't tend to change much whether NA or TT and neither really does fuel consumption.

NAs certainly aren't slow as cars go, the only problem is people in M3s and RS4s will always think it's a TT and will wipe the floor with you - plus you're bound to have a ride in a TT at some point and realise what you're missing. If you're a dawdler who ONLY wants the good looks of the car then you'll be fine - but I'm guessing you're not and after a few months you'll be asking how you get more power out of an NA.

There's no way you'd get 100mm at 6mm, unless maybe it was a special order. We've had similar problems in the past we had to bodge our way around it.

I've just got a quote for £421 for the clutch!! No idea how much BMW would want to charge. So £700 is more reasonable. How about £500 collected?

I was watching "It's me or the Dog" the other day, there was some little scrawny rat dog thing that apparently would only eat on the kitchen table, being spoon fed cooked food!!!! We went to my mums the next day, gave Loki a carcass outside and he just whimpered and pawed at the door - mum said he obviously doesn't like it and can we give him some tuna or corned beef!!! Needless to say within 10 mins of us ignoring him he was eating the chicken but it shows how these things progress when owners give in to their pets demands. That is a problem for most, we have 2 potential suppliers and 1 pretty good one, both potentials we've used before but they can be crap some days. There's also some prep required, like we have 3 freezers now; 2 small for us and 1 upright for the dog. We have to make sure we've got enough in there and get stuff out on time to defrost etc. (although he eats it frozen as well). Generally I think people don't want the hassle but for the cost saving and (IMO) better health of the pet it's worth it.

We give our cat either Felix 'as good as it looks' or Whiskas. Then we give him some dry food at night for him to munch on. Cat's are different to dogs because they are obligate carnivores, whereas dogs are omnivores, so cat food generally has more meat in it than dog food (because a cat will die without meat, a dog will just not get on too well on a vege diet!).

I try not to take anything in the media as fact becaust they're usually biased in some direction - especially the Mail!! But I've read quite a bit on BARF from the (obviously biased) books by Dr Billinghurst to various pet forums and websites, and I've got my own opinions which are in favour of feeding a raw food diet. I would never tell anyone not to feed commercial food, I only ever tell people what I do and what I've discovered and let them make their own mind up.

If it removes the blinkers from people who blindly follow what their vet says then it's a good thing as far as I'm concerned. LOTS of people are feeding raw food now to the pets.

We would feed the cat on raw meat as well but cats are much harder to swap over so we haven't tried yet. As long as you've got some spare freezer storage and can find a regular supplier of raw meaty bones it's definitely a better option IMO. Also, because I get most of our meat from a free range farm place for FREE, all we spend on Loki is a bag of mixed veg and some supplements (garlic powder, multi-vitamin tablets, apple cider vinegar tablets etc., tub of cheap yoghurt and cottage cheese) each month, although we've got some sheep stomachs in the freezer at the mo so he won't need veg mush for a while.

That must handle like a dream!!

Except nicer (IMO).

Why would you not want one? It's awesome!!!
