Seems reasonable, isn't the problem getting everyone to do it on the day though? But then I suppose if everyone was going to do it those that thought they won't bother will have to for fear of running out of petrol!!! The other problem is of course that I can't see them running out that quickly and certainly not staying run out for long.

Who else can we send it to? Not petrol companies I suppose. Can we arrange a day to send them, get as many forums as possible signed up to do it at the same time. All have different titles so they can't block them too easily.

2 in particular: 1 was from a nasa site or somewhere like that, where you could zoom from space, and a view of the solar system, all the way into the cells of a tree outside the place that did it. 2 was the high definition digital picture of a city, that you could zoom into and read car number plates and look in windows and stuff, it was just a really high detail picture. Can't find either by search or on google - don't really know what to search for though.

When the lorries blockaded, it was good for a few days, then people started getting pissed off at running out of petrol and all the stations were empty as well. I remember people at work moaning about 'the bloody lorries'!! And then the government put stuff on TV saying that emergency services were begining to run out of petrol and soon would only be able to attend life or death emergencies!! Action like that needs to be planned well, we can't just say 'lets block all the pumps that'll be good' cos the government run the news, they'll turn everyone in the country against us, saying they don't bargain with irrational action groups and things like that. I don't have the answer just saying that everything that people mention when this subject comes up simply won't work. We'll probably end up getting shafted whatever we do.

There are enough people here to work in shifts, so there's always a noisy exhaust right outside his front door!!!

How can we sort it out though? Talking rationally - petitions and reasoned arguments? Taking action - roadblocks and protests?

Then they'd just say the 'gas guzzlers' are annoyed by the high pricing, and turn the rest of the country against us!! It won't work. Need a better plan.
