Dual screen output either buy a high-end card with DVI + Vga / HDMI output... Or buy two reasonable priced PCI cards and have two separte DVI/VGA. At my work I've got a 4 x 21' monitor setup, just got a bog-standard corporate Dell with 4 graphic cards in. It's always fun trying to find the mouse pointer.

Sorry got home late, it's now too dark for pics, hopefully tomorrow!

Hey guys, keep it on topic please. I only put the comment in as an observation that the car's suitable for a conversion, I never made a firm decision as to who I'd go to for the NA-T work! Yes I haven't read the forum too much, and I just have now. Last time I properly browsed about NA-T conversions many were praising the company.

Never failed an MOT, MOT due in March 08, Tax til end of March '08 Spent a lot of money making this car absolutely ready for an NA-T conversion with someone like turbofit.co.uk (Note, I've read the forum - NOT turbokit, but someone who'd do a good NA-T conversion), now been offered a UK-spec RZ which I should be buying within next 2 weeks so this baby is up for sale http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb99/c0untzero/Supra02.jpg http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb99/c0untzero/Supra03.jpg http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb99/c0untzero/Supra01.jpg Reasonable price isn't it? Make the right offer and I'd even throw in paying for a lifetime membership of this very fine forum

Hi Everyone, Can anyone tell me the part number for the long bolt that goes through the front nearside lower suspension arm which connects it to the body? Or even what it's called? Having looked through the thread with the toyota parts list number I'm still wondering not sure which part it'd be to order.. Cheers Simon

Hi Peeps, I've read the various topics on the forums about strong fuel smell. Unfortunately I seem to be getting a strong fuel smell either when being at too lower revs i.e going up a hill in 4th gear at 25-30mph or while cornering pretty hard but mostly when I come to a stop at a set of lights etc. Also the smell seems to be only really noticeable when I have the windows down (either or both) and gets really strong when I'm down to about 1/4 of a tank of fuel or less. I'm not getting any strange smoke out of the exhaust when hot or cold nor is there any fuel smell in the engine bay when running hot or cold or when revving. Haven't yet checked under the car. I've had the smell since I had the car (Apr '03) and didn't think much of it since it didn't seem to be eminating from the engine bay. Also reading the posts I don't get any hiss when opening the fuel cap. Maybe it could be the charcoal filter? Please can anyone advise what I should check first before starting to pull the car apart as it's been really ****ing me off and I need to pull my finger out and do something about it Anyone that finds the root cause of this problem will be my personal hero The car's a j-Spec NA Manual, still has both cats and only mods are brakes and a HKS hi-power exhaust but the smell was there prior to fitting that. Engine's completely stock and runs fine, never lagged or felt lumpy. So I'm kinda at a loss to what it is. Getting about 250-280 miles to a full tank depending on how I drive. Cheers, Si

1000bhp from a 2l 4cyl lancia/fiat engine!!!?
caseys replied to chilli's topic in Non-Supra Technical
I asked my friend who's a complete integrale nut, his kit car stratos will be on the road next week too Here's what he said: Yes - t'is true an Italian tuning specialist who'se name i forget at this moment did it. (none of the usuals Mangoletsi / Arbarth / Squadra Corsa) They were using the tri-flux engine out of the S4 which is super-charged and then turbo charged as well (low end torque and then top end power) plus they ran it on above average octane fuel. I used to have a clip of this car doing the 0-102Kmph - in 2.94 seconds it was mental but they had to rebuild the engine after 80Kms or something stupid like that. The S4 (old Grp B rally car) ran anywhere between 535 and 850BHP depending on which rally it was participating in. The Stradale version of the car (street version) had an ECU with two settings "Tame 260 BHP" which was a handful and "Rocketship 400 BHP" - which would pull your eyeballs out the back of your head as it had so much grip and low end power. I've had a go in a Stradale S4 - its as close as I've been to being in a Grp B car. The after running 850 BHP the engines did obviously require rebuilding quite regularly !! Ah the good old days of unrestricted rally cars........ -

Maybe they're running a tri-flux version. The lancia guys are quite nuts, one after all built the Lancia Yintegrale ... -

Anyone in any rock/metal/punk/ska/dub/blues bands in the dorset/hampshire area? Or know anyone that does? I'm trying to start a rock night down a venue in Christchurch, Dorset and wondered if anyone on the forum might be interested in playing? Drop me a PM if so! Cheers, Si

*points to his measly NA* I'd either be fitting T61 + injectors + engine work or buying a Uk spec TT before I did that! End of next year for that lark...

Heh sorry matey. Just had a flyer though my postbox as the guys from Triton actually pick my car up from my house when they service it for me. Just thought I'd let people on the forum know that Triton Motorsport in Hurn are having an open weekend for their rolling road - 8th-9th July - 10am - 4pm. Don't know if anyone else got a flyer for this? Power run + printouts seem to be only £35 There's also a shootout Give 'em a buzz on 01202 571564 Cheers, Si

Hi everyone, I've just bought the UK spec front brakes off Nic and looking through a fitting guide it says I need longer bolts, anyone know where I should get these from? Also are the brake hoses different sizes to the j-spec calipers? Or is it just a good idea to fit braided hoses as most of the guides/posts say? Cheers, Si
-
Ahhh I'm just waiting for them to come back into as the wheel to have... Hopefully that'll happen before the sun extinguishes into a small lump of coal. Nic, I've asked two local members if I can try and fit my wheel on their car, hopefully one will say yes!
-
They're 18x8.5J on the front and I've got 18x9.5J on the rear... Sorry! Brain's a bit squishy this evening.
-
Hi Peeps, I've got some brake calipers ordered off Nic (Lovely chap ) but am suffering the dilemma of not checking if the wheels will fit over the calipers... I've got a set of Works Equip split-rims and wondering if anyone can identify their model and if they will fit over UK Spec brakes? And yeah they do need a re-furb! Cheers, Si
