I would interested to know the best set up for this.....will be using mine with a single.

I will try.....I would'nt mind having a look under the bonnet of Ians car for inspiration and make some notes.

Full de-cat and 3 inch+exhaust on a j-spec with a fcd would certainly boost that high, Charlie.

The other half went on for ages.....succumbed and now if i need new toys (single, safcii, sbc idiii, rltc etc) she feels more involved and less likely to view the car as a bottomless money pit. :D

Mine did it for over 9 months until i bothered to look at getting it sorted.

Is it possible to run a t61/t67 with safc ii or will i need to use e-manage. I already have the safc ii and would rather not change it, unless it's going to be more trouble than it's worth.

Trev, the way i see it is .........contaminants are a constant problem and a better filter will hopefully remove much finer particles.

For only a few quid more the lexus filter looks superior to the standard one. If it promotes a more efficient way of cleaning oil, particularly to those people running silkolene 10w50 synthetic who maybe changing every 6k or so, then it seems sensible to use it.

I can't make next few meets.........car is off the road getting some adjustments.

if unit wires are good and the unit itself is sound try tracing back....not much fun, fingers crossed that its either the unit or wires connecting to it.

Have you changed front speakers and unsettled any wires to the drivers side unit...had similar problem in a corrado and found a loose connection behind the door card.

Had a look...knock and throttle position are expressed as %, data 3 on mine is in volts ....i think Mark set something different to what he told me. I reckon i need to find out more info - had it fitted because it was there but paid little attention to what and how it displays.

I think the choices are limited but Mark would give you more info than i could. You can get him on Matt Harwood's Sexton phone no as they work together. Car has been off road a while so can't remember data value sets but will look tomorrow if you still want them.

I had mine fitted by Mark at Sextons, top bloke, i'm sure he will give you some advice.

I run 36 psi.....30 seems a little low. I think alot of people are running 34+.

Due to sick car will have to give this one a miss.

Know how you feel......mine smokes on deceleration. Checked and cleaned all intercooler pipes (were lightly coated in oil). Did a compression test yesterday and all cylinders fell between 183-187. Mine seems to have a blue tinge when smoking on the move-white when revved to 4k at standstill. The smoke appears only when revs fall under 2k on the move and almost idle when revved at standstill.....this lasts for a second then no smoke. I'm guessing seals on the turbo's... will know more when its checked properly this week. Been looking at prices for sorting turbo's and it ain't gonna be cheap (turbo technics etc) looks like i will be pestering Terry again for one of his singles if the seals are knackered ( sorry Tel ). Hope you sort it out soon.
