Take a look at keighley trade centre mate they have soops in all the time and a lot of them are very cheap. Ok they usually are N/A's in there but the selection of cars is astounding. You can drive the cars you are thinking about before having to drive down south. At least that way you will know what to expect from your car beforehand. Dunno what their policy is on allowing multiple test drives but they stock all jap super cars so give a few car types a trip out to see what you think. Should make you realise how good the soop is lol. There are a few importers operate from northern docks like liverpool and newcastle so that also might be an option for you. That said a car that has been in the UK for a while will have some UK history and will probably be an easier option with some of the bigger brakes and UK style MODs done. keighley

Right as I work in the area and drive this road every day I have had a look into it. Should Fleet be a problem there are several big public houses just off the next junction for hook. One of which hosts the DERBY BIKE nights which entails literally hundreds of bikers converging on the pub and ragging up and down the dual carriageway section along the single carriageway Odiham by-pass round the roundabout and back again. One of the roundabouts is encumbent with lights straight back onto dual carriageway so drags are assured and mucho fun usually ensues. This event happens on the first monday of every month so the venue can clearly cope with a lot of people. It is quite literally just off the motorway and onto a very fast section of road. There are two or three more pubs within 5 miles that serve excellent food (yes I have eaten in them all) and even a very uppercrust restaurant (with a lake - a guy borrowed a new audi tt left the handbrake off so you can imagine the comedy photo lol). I still reserve the right that if there is a large cruise liner on aforementioned lake not to be held responsible for traffic situations!!!

I can sooo understand. It is appearing more and more obvious that these people really cannot organise a piss-up in a brewery. They have been learning the english language from the dictionary and dont seem to have gotten as far as Administration!!!! To be sort of fairish they have returned my money with a half arsed excuse. But one question remains in my mind??? Are you allowed to advertise a product and take money for it and then not supply it BY LAW??? I only ask as the muppets are still advertising and taking orders on the very same brake set I have issue with them over! Their pish excuse that they regularly get brake sets in is inexcusable as in this ad they are selling a very specific product ie a singular one only set of second hand brakes see for yourself--- the parts they still dont sell This is now 5 days after they first cancelled my order and after specifically telling me they didn't have these items in stock!!! I'm no lawyer but I am sure that this is completely against advertising laws if not downright missleading! Should I successfully order a set of brakes from them would I really get the advertised "only done 20 miles set"???? I seriously doubt it. All that I need to do now is join and post in an american forum explaining my concerns and see just how popular their business is then.

Funny thing is I only looked at their site as I saw a link to it somewhere in one of the turbo'ing an N/A supra on this forum. From what I can see of them though its their admin that seems to be appalling. The brakes are still advertised as for sale even though they have cancelled my order 3 times and I have gotten arsey with them.

Lol Yeah I expect to get the money back as paypal will get it back for me if necessary its just how long that chicken sh*t bunch of losers take to return the cash is what i am wondering seems as their admin is sooooo poor.

Don't you just love the bloody yanks!!! Actually I sh*t them. I tried on Sunday night to buy a set of UK set brakes they had listed second hand for much cheapness. Admittedly I payed with a UK visa card which it transpires they don't take, so they e-mailed me telling me as much and listed a bunch of ways I could pay. They didn't at this point tell me what the shipping charges would be as I had requested. Tuesday when they finally told me the order was cancelled and why I payed with one of the methods suggested using AMEX and suggested that if that wasn't succesfull to email me with how to go about using paypal instead, oh and again I requested shipping costs. Wednesday no email I checked the order status cancelled no reason why just cancelled. I re-ordered yet again with a snotty note and paying with paypal. Later on I get an email stating that they don't sell that part and don't know when they will. the parts they dont sell They still have my money from paypal and I am awaiting its return (I sent them an even snottier note), but going on their wonderfull customer services dept I am probably going to have a wait on my hands. Moral of the story suprastore US is f***ing crap don't bother trying to buy from them

Well unfortunately you cant stop every man and his dog from showing up at a public venue! That said I really can't see a problem with using a service stations car park especially in the coach/lorry section out of the way of everyone. We are a well behaved bunch that doesn't attract the unwanted attentions of the police, we wont be abandoning vehicles or trying to park up overnight. There won't be any huge cruise ships leaving town, or last minute sales to worry about!!! Should we all get asked to move on there is then a choice of Winchester services (about 15-20 miles away) Basingstoke town, Winchester city with the bar end industrial estate just off junction 11, Rownhams services, the travelodge car park just off the M3-M27 interchange where a drink and meal can be had, or back to Southampton and west quay (the last one was a touch of a joke rofl). Basically though the crux of it is no matter how many people show at Fleet we have such a choice of options from there getting moved would almost be an advantage, rapid blatts down the M3 to any of the above venues would be a hoot. And when the other great unwashed jap motors get bored the hardcore supra element can have a drink at Soton travelodge or A nother public establishment. Lets not have one minor venue upset cause problems it needn't and lets pick a car you came down with and follow that one home not the wrong one lol.

If its a service station and we use their facilities it shouldn't generate a fuss should it? Also there doesn't appear to be 200 cars turning up this time. I think we just got very unlucky at the last meeting was all.

Lets not park 4 more than 2 hours then LOL!!! We can convoy down to Winchester services or Rownhams and back again!!! If we are feeling really adventurous we could use Rownhams and then go Onto the travel inn or travelodge which both have publican establishments that serve fine sunday roasts!!!

speak to some specialist importers like group20 or barbarian or bonsai or JIC for examples of cars and prices (these are all southern ie southampton based importers) Watch these forums BradB had a magnificent example of a TT for sale for 7.5k recently new alloys and a new respray fantastic looking car!!!! As I said previously I have a vauxhall auto please don't do the supra auto the injustice of tarring it with the same brush. Drive the auto and see what you think, especially drive it in manual mode through the gears, I guarantee you will not be dissapointed!! Keighley trade centre cant be all that far from you its gotta be worth a trip judt to drive all your prospective drives! If not get yourself to a northern meet and see how fraternal the soop bunch is!!!
