today before i went to bolney i spent 2 1/2 hours getting tyres and getting them aligned.i was not happy with the wait! Also i hadnt checked my tyres and was down to the threads!!! so i was very lucky! The problem is, they are aligned straight but tyre place couldnt get rear wheel straight. I believe it too do something with a toe..(i seem to remember someone mentioning this) Basically if u stood at rear of car, u can see the wheel points outwards at the end towards front of car and inwards towards rear of car | | = Normal wheels at rear \ | = what my wheel looks like but no where near as bad lol It requires 2x 19" spanners to loosen then u can rotate wheel i believe The new tyres i have put on have already on the one tyre worn off all the nobbly bits on it!!! so i wana get this sorted before have to fork out another 200 quic on tyres I need to know do i need to take wheel off where can this be found (im sure someone said lower suspension arm) and what exactly i need to do, this is obviously a temporary fix until i can get it till a garage which will be earliest of next sat so i need a temporary fix cheers All P.s also thanx to Gatso for tellin me to still go well worth it

he went to jail for so long, coz he gave them slow punctures that may pop while driving. If he had just popped them all, he may of got off with just community service and hefty fine. He wasjailed for indangering life

i said this and so have a few others. U remove viscous fan and u do get increase in HP, not much but enough to make it count. the fans are then electrical putting more pressure on the alternator, but this is substantially less then the pressure from a viscous fan on the engine! I dont think you would have overheating problem, due to the design of them. If mods are done correctly you shouldnt have a problem. I espically wouldnt expect a electrical problem from this, as it is relatively simple for the professionals. plus the electrical ones come all blinged up thats won some people over already lol

lets face it...250 bhp is high enough for us, u can still own your hot hatches and u dont have turbo problems and all internals should take that amount of power without too much problem. someone start a list of the things that can be done to the NA to get the power in order of what to start with: 1. Induction kit 2. Decat pipes and exhaust etc...... i dont know enough so someone else can continue and finish it

i wouldnt take that if u gave it too me trig U do realise ill kick ur arse at pod, when we decide to do our little race Mainly because you got so much MDF in boot i should win lol I am gonna keep it totally stock up till after i been up for a run.

well my car before was a E reg XR3i. Im glad i went NA, they are still powerful and its a big enough jump for anyone! and at end of day you can get caught out by the roads, last thing i wanted was a turbo surprising me half way through a corner! But if your getting a NA i would have to have a manual as it gives u that bit more control and work to do. Makes up for the loss in speed/power. I wouldnt mind a TT auto as you have more power. Thats just my personal preference. NA's are fine and with aftermarket exhaust etcc... (basic mods) you will be able to have all hot hatches and thats all that counts.

well ive decided i like my car and just gonna keep tuning my NA best i can. I know its a predicted extra 5BHP for having electric fan instead of Viscous... loads you can do, Bad points: no ABS, No tracion control Plus points: would have no turbo lag I just cant afford the insurance hike to touch mine yet although suppose i could do some internals anyone have any filthy AEM pulleys lol Didnt realise such a big gain from manifold, is design that restrictive on the NA??
