from £15 i get 95 miles. so you can work it out from that aint got clue what mpg that is but it not motorway driving just drivinground town etc... Im a manual and am now running on unleaded and not optimax. I spoke to toyota and was told the ECU would have no problems changing timing as it was non turbo. Only bad thing is a bit less power

hmm never heard of telling of rear seat removal! Im prob gonna go with one of a few companies that dont make u pay extra for styling mods, as long as it does not increase performance you will be fine and not get anything added on, for instance my bro is with a company like that. But add engine wise and you get caught heavy. but im a NA so prob be a exhaust and induction kit thats it and i cant believe that will add too much!

If he comes near me im gonna go at him with a hacksaw......a junior hacksaw that is!

ahh got ya....the guy who i bought this off was original owner so i will try and contact the guys who done it for him as he has all documents! i should point out im a NA i may disconnect battery and see if it does any good added: the car was bought in UK at end of 1996 and is a 1996 car, could it all go wrong afetr so long fine! car mechanics i can handle electronic side goes over my head!

i know the car is delimited i have been 140leptons today for instance! the needle jumps all over place i should point out and also sits at 0mph sometimes....another thing is that while the speedo is going mental! for every 10metres maybe bit more it adds .1 on to the miles i have done 165 miles on £20 worth of fuel....i wish!

WEll i posted a while back about my speedo, running right round to 180MPH when i was driving well this has happened a few times more since, but untill yesterday i didnt realise this has been happening in a straight line! yesterday night i was approaching a big roundabout and it was late and clear probably doing 35 - 40mph round it. One hand on steering wheel,one on gear stick when the speedo flew up to 180mph. What i didnt know is the power steering assist isnt as much at this speed, to stop people giving it too much turn and loosing it. Well the steering went to what basically is no assist and ripped right out of my hand. Luckerly i was in alert mode and the roundabout is wide (fleetsbridge for the bournemouth lot) none the less i shot across 2 of the lanes out of control, until i got hold of wheel and guided myself on a exit i wasnt going for! Anyway i need serious help now, is there wires i can check to see if there loose or where is the chip?!? could it be buggered?!? I have been out for 40 mile drive today and all seems fine. If this was on a smaller roundabout i would not of been so lucky! In technical for answers on the questions above and what i can do! cheers James

mine is 700 - 800 rpm but does the annual cold start of 2,000 rpm .... u know why it this high dude?? is it something about the engine requiring it too idle so high??

Fuel line decides to let go while pumping.....therefore squirting fuel out near engine, all over engine bay. 3 pumps should soak area nicely Car starts i drive down road engine warms up.....fuel ignites.....Engine bay on fire, fire travels down fuel line.....gets to fuel tank causing explosion car flies into air...me on fire land upside down....... i get out brush dust off shoulders...pat flames out.... start lonely walk to work whistling ermmm think thats it! lol

if it dont start then ull be in trouble! U aint that far away for a drive up and good kicking mate! mind u if it dont start i wont be going anywhere lol

well ok what about the merc's and BMW's that come with windows already tinted!!! if i was gonna have mine tinted i would have a light blue tint like you can get on some merc's i think it would prob look good on a white car:)

same here, is this correct for it to idle at this speed??? its intersting to drive for first 3mins you cant role on idle in traffic as u just shoot towards the back of the car in front after 4 - 5mins back down to idle of 800rpm

like i said i like the wheels waiting for them to send brochure so i can get photo shopping but think ur right.......back to drawing board

i would like a sub forum in Gatherings and meets. Called Gatherings and meets photo's. Theres nothing worse then looking through pages to find pictures. If Mawby could moderate it so only posts with picture attachements or links to pictures were kept that would brilliant. Comments could be kept to the actual Gathering and meet thread. well thats my 2p's worth

well i think have finally found the alloys i am gonna get. Although not 100% sure due to size and tyre widths etc.... and how it would look on white car. I know wheels can make or break the look of car which is why i havent raced into buying wheels for the supra. If i get pic of my car would anyone mind photoshopping them onto my car what does everyone think of the wheels?? click me

toyota should be able to get it for you and sometimes as i foudn out even have NA parts on the shelf!!!!

there is a lot of good insurance companies around there. You do have to search and find the one that is best for you, it can vary so much. My biggest quote was 6500 pounds! and they wont always tell u bout all there discount so u ask do u discount for..... company car insured on other veichle etc.....

steve not sure bout mine, as canford heath is biggest housing estate in europe (learn something new every day) and lets face it was originally all council estate. Faye - the person i know is one of my best mates who works for insurance broker and when doin my insurance uses the discounts: * Company car driving Discount * Comission taken off * Insured on another veihicle Discount * mum put on to bring it down (no she does not drive it) * Insurance brokers employee discount which he asked his boss could he do *Discount coz have another car insured by them phew...think thats it on discoutn front!!! all i have to do is give him £20 for doing it all for me....worth it IMHO but u think im lucky, his boss gives him free car insurance on his car
