Time attack does take place stateside, they also have much larger events such as one lap of America. In all honesty, as good as this type of event sounds, you'll find it difficult finding enough takers to make it financially viable.

I would definitely rethink the 3 pump idea. I had a very close shave with the 3 Walbro route when one pump popped in dramatic style.

^ Would be nice, but there wouldn't be sufficient wall thickness to allow for a 94mm piston to regain a square engine layout. That would necessitate total redesign of the block and would require a custom head and crack to be made too. $$$$$$$
