  1. 76mm tip to tip. 66.05mm trough to trough. 5.02-5.08mm Tooth tip width.
  2. 6K will get you into a TT no problem. Abz has his Auto TT going for 5.5K in the for sale section.
  3. Nice addition. That must have been something they've added in the last couple of years.
  4. Nice machine that one, had a lot spent on it.
  5. Do they have a hangar that wraps around the back box? I only remember there being the 2 bolt Walker strap clamp that held the back box on, then the 2 hangers on the main system.
  6. Nothing wrong with that, somewhere to clean your spark plug.
  7. I thought you was knocking the whole bike thing on the head due to family responsibilities?
  8. Take up a cheap form of competitive motorsport? I would imagine that would suit you quite nicely as well as keep your mind occupied.
  9. Buy it a brother to play with.
  10. Makes perfect sense, risk limitations. Again building everything right doesn't guarantee success, it just increases the chances of it. I've seen brand new factory backed engines grenade themselves first time on the dyno, and you're taking the path less troden which isn't sympathetic to 'limited' budgets.
  11. Still losing money no matter what way you cut the cake, you just chose the cake you enjoy the most:)
  12. Unfortunately you need to add this into your budget. The most highly specced engines cannot be guaranteed to stay together, that's the risks you have to be willing to take.
  13. Boom. This is the crux of it, reliability is open to interpretation and this is where there is massive a void between UK and USA Supra owners.
  14. Seconded. Go on holiday to alleviate the boredom, car looks perfect as is.
  15. I just read that as driving the kids to the pool, which is something I wouldn't want to watch
  16. Saves me typing what I was going to say:). As far as the logistical aspects of the squirters with strokers, all the ones I have seen can accommodate the squirters with no problems, so we can assume that a mute point. As far as removing them to promote higher oil pressures, I can only see this being valid from the point of enabling a quicker rise rate and 'possible' flow improvement to the bearings, as maximum oil pressure is governed by the pressure relief valve - this is the bit where we are told to double up the spring in it.
  17. I nearly fell off my chair reading that:blink: You must be suffering from the flu or something.
  18. I'd be interested to know what you mean by "hindrance" with regards the oil squirters? Piston crown cooling is something I would want to retain on a car with increased cylinder temperatures and pressures, so it's interesting to hear their removal being recommended.
  19. Sorry to hear this Paul. Fingers crossed that things get better for you soon.
  20. I don't want to talk to her Ernie, I just want her drive me back from the pub and fiddle with my bits every now and then:d
  21. They don't do anything different to what is done/can be done here. They just have a different outlook, more cash and the ability NOT to tell anyone when things go bang! Don't think for one minute that half of these achievements credited by our American cousins were obtained first time out of the block without failures. Quite a few of the big hitter drag 3.4's also run filled blocks which highly compromises cooling in a road car.
